Golden Kamuy Replacement Poll
Added 2024-05-29 16:20:03 +0000 UTCWe're coming up on the end of Golden Kamuy, so it's time for another poll! As such we'll be getting this poll done in advance, so we all know what's coming next.
Vote for ANY AND ALL shows that you would like to see us react to! We always take note of which shows get plenty of votes, but don't win. Whichever gets the most votes we will release early access reactions on the Sunday when the final Golden Kamuy reaction goes public.
NOTE: Jacob and I have read some of the Komi manga, and Jacob has seen the old version of Spice and Wolf and read the light novels.

The only thing that the remake can do better is an adaptation of the fourth volume, since it got skipped in the OG. Don't think the Bros have actually seen the 2007 version, so it's a possibility. Doubt they would do that though.

2024-05-29 20:26:45 +0000 UTCI've rewatched the old one recently. It really is better. The only thing that the new one has over it, and even that is not by a lot, is audio. Not music, (nor its usage in the episodes) but sounds and audio mixing.

That's totally not at all you looking at the original through rose tinted glasses, nope. This is people complaining about Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood all over again because *they should have continued the series, not remade it*, when in either case it was impossible to continue because of creative choices made at the time.
