I really like the dichotomy of Vash and Nai, both have good points but honestly, I tend to veer towards Nai moreso than Vash's. I don't know if you notice that Nai and others constantly ask Vash what side he's on and what his answer to the situation should be, but he never seems to have an answer. Nai is not human, and humanity is enslaving his people, so he feels within his right to save his people.

I want to point out that it would make more sense if Earth isn't a wasteland since they have the plants. That could just be a lie Zazie was told to turn against the humans. (please don't spoil me, but if it was shown otherwise earlier in the story feel free to correct.)
That little line that Rem apparently told Vash, that plants can't survive without humans, i feel like that has to be true for there to be any merit to Vash's viewpoint. (from a story viewpoint true i mean)
I think the "humans will inevitably subjugate and destroy nature" viewpoint is a boring and pessimistic one so hoping the story is better than that.
