2024-07-14 13:37:53 +0000 UTCThis chapter in the novel is what gave me a bias FOR this kind of storytelling back in ~2014, and a bias AGAINST stories like Game of Thrones and Attack on Titan that kill off characters too often. I much prefer less character deaths and making them meaningful with long lasting consequences than the weekly "whos gonna die this week" like we have with GoT (specifically television version).
