Personally, I too was very frustrated. And I am since the beginning of second part of season 2. Season 1 was incredibly good. Season 2, part 1, was ok, but I was missing what I loved about season 1. Season 2, part 2, is incredibly frustrating, because the show just became as bad as a lot of other Isekai. Now Rudy start his harem. I guess Eris gonna be the third. I hope next season gonna be back to good, but unfortunatly I dougt :'(

You can see him just getting more and more frustrated and how he's in a spiral of annoyance rather than listening. Really shows in the disconnect in their opinions at the end. The other issue is that they're bringing in too much of the morals of our own world into the situation rather than analyzing this by the morals from the world of where they are. Rudy is the only one that morals of our world come into play. Those don't matter to Roxy. That's the importance of the religious discussion from Elinalise that you guys completely skipped discussing. It's actually really important that neither of their "this world" moral upbringing is based in monogamy. There's an automatic expectation of non-monogamy, unlike our world.

2024-07-15 11:56:11 +0000 UTCLOL Jacob always has such an axe to grind when anime girls get away with things... from what Roxy did in this episode to innocent "hitting the protag for a comedy bit." It's quite funny. Anyway, I think Roxy justified her actions by telling herself that she was literally saving Rudeus' life... which she was. That doesn't make ANYTHING that happened OKAY. But I think it makes Roxy at least a little more redeemable. Bottom line: the anime producers really fucked up by not making Roxy's intentions clear prior to the encounter.
