I feel like Jacob is going to hyperfocus on the "taking advantage" part. "She's a cute anime girl so it's okay" and all of that. Isn't that why we like this show? Because it goes into messy, real-life situations like that? You think there's never been a widowed man/woman who has been taken advantage of by someone in real life?

All they saw was that rudy had the gaze of death and that he wouldnt live much longer if they dont do something. The only thing they came up with is this and only because elinalise has seen this work before

2024-07-15 06:28:53 +0000 UTCSpoiler within current episode. Yeah, Yuion brings up a good point. It happens quite differently in the LN. The anime definitely paints Roxy in a worse light than the LN. Putting it simply, in the scene in question, Rudy is the one who makes the move, not Roxy. But its a whole lot more complicated than they had time to show in the anime.
