I genuinely think Martha saying "You mustn't commit adultery" is the only way she can curb Becky. It would be so difficult to explain to a 6 year old why a relationship between her and Loid would not work. I mean my 4 year old asked me to marry her the other day and in her mind that means do some dancing and a kiss on the cheek. They perceive the world so differently and it can be a cute perspective to look into how a child would have a crush and how innocent it really is.
