I'm going to have to agree. I've read about half the chapters that are out right now, and none of it was nearly as enjoyable as what the 1st episode covered. I was genuinely bored for most of it, and when I wasn't bored I was just mildly entertained. It's in no way bad, but to make it a priority? Eh...

Based for choosing to auto this instead of OnK kek. OnK ep1 was great but as a manga reader I would personally say that’s the best content in the story. The nxt stuff (speaking as a manga reader) is cool especially for entertainers like the bros so they will relate and stuff but still think it’s popularity will drop considerably from that banger of a first ep. Kinda loses steam tbh. I do admit this is my least fav arc from the manga in DS so not as hyped for it but we’ll see

Oshi no ko seems kinda overrated to me. Not sure if I am going to continue watching it Not saying its bad or anything. But its definitely not worth the hype its getting

I convinced myself they would pick Oshi since it blew up right as SpyxFamily ended so I only have myself to blame for being disappointed. But hey Demon Slayer is still a very pretty show so the hype moments will be exciting

What is with this comment section? Putting aside the story, Demon Slayers animation, characters and VA performances are top notch. There are definitely other react worthy shows this season with equally great elements, but this is still a solid pick. I'm sure they'll get to Oshi eventually (whether it's in a poll or one of their personal picks); that show basically blew up overnight, and as someone else pointed out, they probably plan their schedules a week or two in advance. Cut them some slack and have patience.

i think oshi no ko would beat demon slayer if there was a poll right now anyway, seeing how people are talking about both shows.. but since its only a recent development, they probably never even heard about it when they made the decision from what i observe, the bros like to do things looong in advance, nothing is really done in real time.. for all i know they probably recorded reactions to these shows months in advance and are just laying back enjoying the patreon bucks.. ngl its actually kinda nice to only have to work like one full week then relax for 3-4 months :D
