If they used their time for "Gintama instead of meme shows" lol. The first 30 or so episodes are basically purely old japanese memes. Don't get me wrong I love Gintama but that's some BS reasoning (and that's also leaving aside that Oshi no Ko and Kaguya-sama are both simply a great shows)

Because they’re already watching 12 shows a week (most of which are voted on), they also stream for multiple hours on weekdays, and on top that they save up time for their hobbies and other stuff outside watching/reacting to shows. They’ve found and got a good rhythm going and I seriously doubt they’ll change that rhythm anytime soon. You can keep hoping for a Gintama reaction, but don’t be surprised if they do stay by their one-episode-per-week schedule.

Retroactively speaking if they used their slots for gintama instead of other meme shows and seasonals they could have comfortably finished it 5 times. and speaking in terms of starting it today, watching a show more than once a week is for some reason illegal where they live it seems, otherwise it wouldn't take 7 years

I think doing the poll this way was the best choice, of course OSHI NO KO??! would have dominated on a straight forward poll; however, I think Heavenly Delusion might have stood a chance against Oshi No K.O. (looking at the poll results) but that might be wishful thinking.

I've been seeing "oh it's so boring after ep.1" a lot in the comments, but that couldn't be further from the truth. It's a show about the (dark sides of the) entertainment industry, and it shows them quite brilliantly. The thing you expected is the background plot, the premise, the driving force, but ofc not what every single episode will deal with.
