2023-06-23 18:37:40 +0000 UTCMy headcanon is that the Demon Slayer universe is actually an Isekai world, and each of the Hashira have been isekai'd from a different genre of anime. (Mitsuri = mahou shoujo, Tengen = Jojo, etc). In their world they're normal, but in this one, they're seen as eccentric. It also explains why they're each so powerful; they're all isekai protagonists. Except for Giyu, who is actually from this world and gets bullied for being normal.
