L.C. obviously didnt understand anything about that story arc. But cant blame him entirely, a lot of LN information was omitted. As Ryuuji said, she didnt say he was the worst. She was talking about the situation. She felt hugely inadequate. She is insecure. She didnt say it was out of obligation for herself but also for rudeus. This whole thing is a huge misunderstanding. Rudeus should have reassured her that this is not her fault Sara should have stayed and talked about it. But both are immature regarding relationships so mistakes are bound to happen. It happens in real life all the time

2023-09-17 06:10:51 +0000 UTCThe fact is Sara already acts like a brat. She said "it was out of obligation" to protect herself being able to loosen up enough to get that close to rudeus. The muttering out of her mouth of him "being the worst" was absolutely spiteful and hurtful. The fact is that they are both unexperienced so Sara and Rudeus are both at equal faults for what they say. Rudeus got the shit end of the stick because of her leaving him without trying to understand, and maybe she was coming back to apologize but we don't know for sure, and he ended up being in the worst place possible to vent his frustration against her for what she did.
