i love that you acknowledged that hachi's flirting isn't actual flirting and it tethers in between charm and flirting and that she has no ill intentions, i've seen many ppl consider that cheating even tho hachi's character is just one that fantasizes and romanticizes. it's not srs she just sees the best qualities in ppl and showers them with affection, girls included. i don't think shoji is necessarily wrong for wanting sex, it's completely normal but the notion of feeling as if he's owed sex and if he ever forms resentment over hachi for not giving him that despite him pushing for her to be independent is what would be bad and extremely hypocritical of him. anyways i think you're in for a treat for hachi's character as she reflects on herself a lot and we wnd up hearing a LOT of her thoughts which is my for me she's like one of the best written anime characters
