Shoji: You can't expect to be around me 24/7 (even though we haven't seen each other in a year) and become my housewife yet, you need to become more independant (but also give me sex when I want it).
Nana K: *finds a flatmate and moves away* *starts to hang out more with other people* *starts to figure out how to become independant to work towards their common goal*
Shoji: No, not like that. Anyways, there is this cute girl at my job who kinda looks like you but I don't know her flaws yet so I'm gonna cheat. I couldn't help it, it literally came out of nowhere! She practically jumped me! Accident.
To me, Nana K. is an emotionally immature young woman. Very fantastical, histrionic, and self-absorbed, definitely. But Shoji seems to really fancy himself a good person, and the math ain't mathing. Did he even like her? I think he only liked that she was vulnerable and needed guidance at the beginning, until it turned out to be a flaw and not a cute quirk. Which is fine, break up then. Don't need to betray and be cruel.
