Series Freeze for Character Polls? Thoughts? Please Read

Just because a series is omitted from the poll for that month doesn't mean that you may not get an overwatch character for that month. Like next month if there was an overwatch ban on July's poll there is still an overwatch character in the works. Also from what I can tell the overwatch community is about 25-30% of patrons yet they dominate most of the polling so as much I don't want to enforce this rule since I love doing the characters it may be necessary. As far as I can tell most patrons agree with the series ban (a lot of "no's" are also indifferent in the poll)

Definitely agree with you. No offensive but I have to say that Overwatch and SFV have dominated this community for quite a long time....

If anything it would be unfair having OW removed, as shown in the polls, OW has the most people wanting to see ported. That's just the nature of voting

Well I'm glad there's no DOA request. So yeah its good to see DVA and Nico competing, however the losing side will always complain about it, but I think it's ok, I hope everyone all gets their waifu somewhere someday. But I agree that we should limit the character roster a bit.

I would say i'm towards the middle leaning towards no. If you look at the community polls: Poll 1 - 26% of the vote was for 2 OW girls (Non OW girl won) Poll 2 - 35% of the vote was for 2 OW girls (26% for winner) Poll 3 - At the moment 28% for 4 OW girls (22% for current 1st place) IMO OW isn't winning because its getting the majority of votes, its winning because the small group of people interested in the franchise are banding together. Kind of tied in, I'm currently one of the DVa voters, because i don't see Elizabeth winning and I would prefer DVa over Nico so I moved my vote. I would be really interested to see what would happen if people were willing to move to their second choice seeing as there are so many low vote characters. As things are right now, if Nico's votes stayed the same, all of the OW votes moved to DVa, and all the other voters rallied behind Nico or a 3rd character, that character would win by a land slide. If people really don't want to see OW girls winning non stop, there is no need to ban them if they win, just check the poll a day or two before it closes and if your 1st choice has no shot at winning just jump to another girl you prefer or a girl who has the best chance at beating the leading OW girl. Hell, if this happened for Elizabeth, I would love to move my vote back to her from DVa. As for the concern of being known as the OW modder, is that so bad? OW is very popular right now so there is a lot of potential new patreons there. Personally, I pledged to you because I wanted your Ashe and Mercy models, but I plan on sticking around for a little while because I really like that you let your fans select the choices for your monthly poll. Yes there are a few more OW girls I would love to see from you sooner then later but there are also tons of other girls from other games I would be more than happy with if we have to wait every other month for OW to be eligible. I would prefer that instead of a flat ban, you limited character suggestions to one per person and maybe put a restriction that 2-3 characters from a franchise could be entered to the poll at once.

hmm i think it should be totally okay to freeze the series for the next poll. Or Maybe you can seperate the polls. Just an Overwatch Character Poll and a normal Poll. I mean i am an Overwatch Fan but seeing little kid Diva winning over some hot woman in the recent poll it kills me man:P haha. yeah a seperate Poll should be a good solution

Thirst for OW to strong as stated again .You are known as the OW guy for HS. Maybe a big portion of your patrons are here just for OW or voters changing vote to be on the winning side.
