Development Diary #90

Hi guys,

I hope you are having a good summer (those who are in the Northern Hemisphere) without suffering too much the hot temperatures ^^'

It's been approximately a month since we started the development of the v0.61 of Shuggerlain. We had time enough to develop quite a bit of content. There's still a lot to do, but it's not going bad at all:

-Kemeq plot art assets WIP
-Kemeq unit's for battles DONE
-Izuin art for battles DONE
-Izuin event WIP (WIP, half done)
-Zira's first date H-scene DONE
-Jilliana second date H-scene DONE
-Night Queen third date H-scene DONE
-Other art assets for Night Queen WIP
-Akila event DONE (this was previously done, a few updates ago)
-New succubus DONE
-New succubus sex battle WIP
-Ione sex training H-scene NOT YET

In general terms, this is it. Take into account that, despite it seems really really advanced (well, it is) part of the WIP work requires a good bunch of new CG's.
We are trying to optimize the work in that way, but basically we've been focusing on H-scenes (only 2 remaining so far) because we'll need time for them.

Also, at this point I want to remind you that Izuin and Dynae are more protagonist girls than the rest of the main girls (Saraith, Yraselle, Vex...). It will be something like:
Dynae&Izuin > Main girls > Secondary girls.
Why am I saying this, now? Well, because the tents of Dynae and Izuin won't have exactly the same options as the others. We realized that meanwhile the "main girls' "starting point on the tent is from practically strangers, with Dynae and Izuin  (for different reasons) are not like that. There's already a built relationship from the starting point with them. That's why we thought it makes no sense to treat them like the others when they are not like the others.

Also, this lead us to some interesting news for the "main girls". Thanks to this, we've also been thinking on the options to give to the main girls when you reach level 10 with them. The most obvious thing that I can explain now is unlocking the option to choose them for the end of the game. In other words, if you don't reach level 10 with them you won't be able to get their endings.
But besides that, level 10 implies a level of affection that... we think they could unlock interesting new stuff. Not sure when we'll start adding this to the game. It's unlikely we'll do this in the 0.61 but it will be soon. (Kinky, lower your expectations!! - inside joke from discord, if your name is not Kinky, ignore it haha-)
