Pom's Pyramid

I decided to utilize this drawing of Pom to experiment with lighting! It was a lot of fun. There's some overlying lore with the background, but I learned all kinds of things about contrast while making this!
Drawing is very much a highly-experimental hands-on learning experience; just fascinating. The nigh-endless range of options of where to put light on Pom's body is such a unique sense of control, especially with this much intensity; you get to decide where you want to apply emphasis on the subject matter in general just from utilizing light! Just wonderful.
Apologies for nerding-out about drawing/lighting a bit here, but projects like this bring a nice light (pun intended) to the endeavors of drawing. Just a lot of fun.
