GM at the Beach! (+ alts)
Added 2020-08-17 05:24:59 +0000 UTCIt is complete! To reiterate the subject of this image, I wanted to draw giraffe mom in a kind of "candid" way, hence the smartphone photo app overlay. Whoever is about to take the photo seems to have taken more than one, as you can see in the little gallery shortcut thumbnail in the corner! Hmm, I wonder who could be doing it.
I also included a version of the image without the overlay. The grayscale version is just because when I converted the image into grayscale to check the contrast, I thought it looked lovely, so I figured why not include it.
The clouds took me quite a long time and with a few retries, investigating alternate methods until I settled on this. I still have a lot to learn!
