Rylenne's Shrinking Research: Part 4 - The Seven Subjects, and The Sneaker's Abyss

Note: this series is going to have a good bit more characters going forward, it will increase or decrease depending on how many people vote on the polls for this interactive series. Most of the time, the story will be written from a third person narrator perspective, but every now and then jumps to the POV of a character, and I will specify when that happens so nothing’s confusing. Part 5 will be releasing within the next day or so, and follow up directly where this part left off, and then right after Part 5 is released a new poll will go up, for you all to vote on what The Seven Tinies should do next, and soon there will be opportunities to name new tiny characters in the story after yourself or whatever you like, if that is something you are interested in, and decide who they are and what their like and etc! This series is my favorite so far! This story goes into detail about what would happen if your little fantasies came true, so enjoy, tinies, lets see what happens to you :3

Rylenne's Shrinking Research Part 4:
The sterile hum of fluorescent lights filled Rylenne Duck’s makeshift lab, a cluttered corner of her bedroom in the apartment she shared with Amber. The walls were plastered with scribbled equations, microscope slides, and a chaotic collage of scans of various objects, food under various magnifications, and of course a detailed calendar filled with notes and dates for events, a bunch of them, with specific dates circled, from afar they just look like unclear scribbles. Her desk, a battlefield of vials, syringes, and humming monitors, was the heart of her obsession—a shrine to the science of shrinking. Rylenne adjusted her glasses as she scribbled a couple more notes, brushed her hair, just enough to make her look less sleep deprived, and prepared her latest experiment. Her eyes glinted with a mix of excitement and secrecy, her mind racing with possibilities. She was a successful scientist at Evoltech, something she was proud of, yes, but her true passion laid here, in the shadows of her room, where she could control everything, do whatever experiments and mad science she wanted, and keep it all to herself, without any judgment from “inferior and ignorant minds”. Nobody knew about these hidden experiments except for a select few, it was still in its early stages, and still evolving, and at least for now, but maybe even forever, she will keep it all a secret.

Today however, six new volunteers stood before her, normal-sized for now, their faces a blend of nervous anticipation and fetish-fueled thrill. She finally found people who would be perfect to test on, with no complaints out of them, hopefully. They’d signed contracts, lured by Rylenne’s cryptic online posts and direct messages, promising a chance to live out their various macrophilia and shrinking fantasies. The group was diverse: four men—Jasper (who was already shrunk and was the main character of the previous entries of this series, since he got to Rylenne’s apartment earlier than the rest), Caleb, Milo, and Theo—and three women—Lila, Nora, and Sienna—each drawn by their unique desires to be small, vulnerable, and at the mercy of giants, but with varying kinks and interests. Jasper, who would be the de facto leader, had been the first to arrive, his online correspondence with Rylenne sparking the group’s formation. He was on her desk, already tiny, only 0.00039 inches, watching the humongous giants and giantesses speak to each other, hardly able to understand them, which was thrilling to them. He loved the feeling of being so.. different, than them. The ultimate domination fantasy, being literally powerless, this was no roleplay, it was a fact, that he had no power, and it’s been the most thrilling thing he has ever experienced, but still his brain is always feeling like it’s on fire, his subconscious and instincts feel betrayed. Jasper stood tall, his dark hair tousled, his eyes scanning the room with a mix of awe and unease, he has been through one experiment already, which he luckily survived, he just got back to the desk about 15 minutes ago, narrowly escaping being eaten by Amber, stranded on her toast, but he wound up on her plate, and after she left, Rylenne extracted him. It was all terrifying, but immensely arousing, and he felt safe, he felt like Rylenne would not let anything terrible happen, and it seemed like their durability is enhanced, probably invincible from the serum, he thinks. Lila, petite and fiery, clutched her bag, her fetish for unaware giantesses barely concealed, as she excitedly talked about her interests and hopes for what will happen with the others. The others milled about, exchanging awkward smiles, their shared secret binding them. They knew a little bit about each other from online, sharing stories and art occasionally on message boards, and websites like Discord, DeviantArt, Eka’s Portal, etc where they were part of a large community, but they have never met in person. It’s rare to meet people with a macrophilia fetish, or any kind of size fetish, in person, since the fetish is not very common, but now it seems like their impossible fantasy has become a reality.

When they got messages from Rylenne, and proof of her inventions, they immediately signed up. She scoured the internet for who seemed like they would be a good fit, people who she would enjoy controlling and observing, all with diverse interests. Shrinking people without this fetish, which has only happened once so far (to her knowledge at least), did not go so well. Minato was truly horrified, and that was not fun, but shrinking someone who is aroused just by shrinking, that could be interesting to observe. She found it fascinating, theorizing that they would be hit with waves of intense fear, arousal, excitement, an interesting mix of feelings and sensations, all things that if she witnessed happening, instead of just fantasizing about it, would bring her more pleasure than anything ever has. She felt less guilty and anxious about it this way, since in her mind, she believes that no matter what they say after being shrunk, she knows it’s what they really do want, and that they will accept their new fate, and if they do not accept it… well then they must be lying, to her and themselves.

Rylenne clapped her hands, her voice sharp but laced with a performative warmth. “Alright, my brave little pioneers, let’s get started. You’re about to make history—or at least, make my research very interesting.” She grinned, her messy hair falling into her face as she gestured to a tray of syringes filled with a shimmering blue serum. “This is my shrinking serum, Version 7.2. It’ll take you down to 0.00039 inches first—0.00039 inches, about the size of a red blood cell. Don’t worry, I’ve tweaked it so you can breathe, metabolize, and survive at that scale. This serum has been human tested once before, an intern at work volunteered, and everything went.. great, so once again, you don’t need to worry, it’s safe. Shrinking can be an intense sensation, you will be overwhelmed, but you do not need to be scared or freak out, got it? Your biology’s been… let’s say, enhanced. Questions?” Caleb, a lanky guy with a nervous laugh, raised a hand. “Uh, will it hurt? And… our clothes?” Rylenne’s smile tightened, her facade of care thinning, ready to get on with the shrinking so she can observe them, all tiny and helpless, at her mercy, under her absolute control. “Pain? Minimal. A pinch, maybe some dizziness. Clothes… well, I’ve got you covered—sort of. Making outfits at that scale is a nightmare, so you’ll get nano-woven underwear. Bras for the ladies. You’re lucky I bothered. At your new sizes you will be barely visible anyways.” She laughs, waving off his concern, ignoring the murmurs. Theo then asks, with a tone of confusion and speculation,” I still don’t understand how this is possible, before you messaged me I thought this would never happen in my wildest dreams, I thought you were lying at first, as one would. And to be honest i’m still skeptical, I would just like to know more about what is actually going to happen to me, and how.. It all works I guess”. Theo says nervously, not wanting to come off as too rude, he’s curious and anxious. “It’s the 30’s Theo, anything is possible. Anything’s always been possible though, some things just take time and someone with enough dedication, and the immense wisdom and work ethic required of course, to make it happen. We did not think we would have submarine cars just a few years ago, this is not much different. How it works is for me to know, and you to not know, for now. Trust me, you’ll be fine. Now, who’s first?” Rylenne responds, unintentionally showing signs of her inflated ego.

Milo stepped forward, his voice steady despite the tremor in his hands. “I’ll go. Let’s do this.” The others nodded, some hesitant, others buzzing with excitement. Rylenne’s grin widened—she loved this part, the moment of control, the power to reshape their reality. One by one, Rylenne administered the serum, her syringe precise despite her chaotic demeanor. Milo went first, wincing as the needle pierced his arm. A warm tingle spread through his body, then a dizzying lurch, like falling through a dream. The room expanded, Rylenne’s face ballooning to a 1.06-mile colossus, her red-streaked hair a fiery cascade, everyone around him went from being mostly shorter than him, to immensely tall, huge, titanic, but no words could describe that feeling, a feeling he had longed for for as long as he can remember, being helpless, absolutely at mercy, not just the mercy of a hot woman, but everything. His clothes dissolved, absorbed by the serum’s nanites, leaving him naked and shivering. Before he could protest, Rylenne’s fingers—now 328-foot-wide pillars—pinched him gently, her touch warm but terrifyingly vast. She dropped him onto her desk, a 0.66 square mile plain of wood grain and scattered papers, near Jasper and a petri dish the size of a stadium.

(Milo’s POV) Holy shit, this is actually real. I won’t lie, I kinda thought this might be a scam, but I knew Rylenne was at least a real person, so even if it was a scam, I figured it would be cool to meet her at least. I’ve lived in Laneton for a few years, and heard about some of her other breakthroughs and inventions, and her work at Evoltech in the local newspapers, and I had seen a portrait of her, and knew she was gorgeous. Ever since then I have had a massive crush on her, there’s just something about women who are so smart that really gets me, you know? I had no idea she was into shrinking and size stuff until recently, and I practically jumped up and down with excitement. I know it’s a rare fetish, so I figured it may increase my chances with her! My heart’s pounding, not just from fear but… damn, shrinking.. being so small, it’s fucking awesome. Luckily me and the group have done our homework, and Rylenne gave a quick run down, just now and online, of how small we would be, and of course we were awake all night in anticipation, doing our research on what things would be like. We knew a good bit already of how things would realistically be, obsessed with the fantasy, doing everything we can to get even a flicker of what it would be like if it really happened, like how big things would be. I am not ashamed to admit I memorized the dimensions and sizes of so many things, like the average foot sizes, shoes, socks, bras, anything. But now it’s not a fantasy, it’s somehow real. I’m 0.00039 inches tall, 0.00039 inches, a speck on Rylenne’s desk. The wood grains a canyon, each ridge a 3.28-foot cliff. Her voice booms, a low-frequency quake, unintelligible for now, but shaking my bones. I’m naked, my skin prickling in the chilly air, my body losing heat fast—my surface-area-to-volume ratio’s insane, like 170,000 times a normal human’s. I’m strong, though—muscles scaled to lift 0.000000085 ounces, a million times my 0.0000000000005-ounce mass. I’m just… awestruck.

(Narrator) Lila followed, her shriek fading to a high-pitched squeal as she shrank. Her clothes vanished, and Rylenne’s fingers plucked her up, dropping her near Jasper and Milo. She landed gently on her knees, since she has drastically less mass, higher air resistance from that, and the fact that air molecules are bigger than they used to be to her, although they are still not visible, falling feels like a gentle glide, like a feather. It’s a weird sensation, like as if you were in a ocean, and stopped swimming, and just kept descending. Her auburn hair wild, her body trembling with adrenaline and arousal her skin filled with goosebumps, a bit cold from the room temperature, 68 degrees. “Oh my god,” she whispered, her voice a faint chirp at 10 kHz, audible only to Milo. Lila did not think this was a scam exactly, but was skeptical about it’s safety, assuming there was a chance it either would not work, or just kill them instantly. “This is… incredible. Holy.. Shit.. Milo! This is insane! We did it! And we’re actually alive!”

Caleb, Theo, Nora, and Sienna shrank next, each reacting differently. Caleb laughed, a nervous edge to it, his erection obvious as he landed, blushing furiously, although he had no control over it, it was just a natural reaction. Milo, quieter, stared at Rylenne’s looming form, entranced. She was humongous now, intensely large, but still beautiful, still his ultimate crush and fantasy that has now become real. Theo, the skeptic, muttered about the contract’s fine print, and still had a feeling that something.. was not right, a strange gut feeling, that maybe there’s something he missed, his arousal tempered by unease, but he tries to let his worries go and just enjoy this. Nora, pragmatic, adjusted quickly, her eyes scanning the desk’s terrain, no fear whatsoever, a stark contrast to some of the others.

Sienna, was just purely happy, it’s just how she imagined, like it was in Virtual Reality but so much more intense and thrilling, the VR did not do this justice. She smiled softly, she was not just happy to have her dream come true, but happy to me among people who actually understands her, and sharing this experience with them. She never has had too many friends, she was not exactly shy she just could not relate to many people in her day to day life, except for her handful of friends online, like Caleb. They had been talking for a long time, sharing stories they wrote, or art, their favorite creators and fantasies, but had never met in person. Her gaze lingered on him, she was nervous he would look different than she imagined and how he described once, but he really is not too bad looking, pretty cute actually.. And seeing him like this, small, naked, just like in the stories, it was the sexiest thing she had ever experienced. She made sure to walk over to him and catch up, being close to him was comforting, she especially had no fear when near him, and she would soon find out that Caleb had some very similar feelings. The seven stood on the desk, naked and vulnerable, their bodies enhanced by the serum to survive—lungs adapted to viscous air, metabolism scaled to ~10⁻¹⁵ W, neural pathways shortened for faster reactions. Time felt stretched—molecular collisions hit like a strobe, making Rylenne’s movements seem languid, a giantess in slow motion. Their voices, pitched at 5–10 kHz, were squeaks, less than that actually, inaudible to Rylenne without her amplifiers, which was a set up she designed to communicate with tinies who were this small, a microscopic microphone tuned to pick up the otherwise unhearable voices.

Jasper rallied the group up to give a little pep talk, he knows some of them are probably startled, he was too at first. “Okay, everyone, let’s stick together. This is… wild, but it’s real, so lets stay on our A game and make sure we do a good job. Let’s be part of history!” He says excitedly. “Hell yeah, cheers to that. Guys this is even better than I dreamed. Look at her!” Lila said, grinning despite her shivers, pointing at Rylenne. She was now sitting at the desk in a massive chair looking at her laptop, just her sitting down shook the entire desk, and caused an earthquake. It was an imperceptible rumble to her, but massive to the seven tinies. She kept a calm focused face, but truly she was thrilled by this, finally she was studying real, willing, shrunken people, not just clones of herself or the brief experiment with the unwilling intern Minato. This time, she did not need to be as anxious, or fearful, they wanted this afterall, it’s their deepest desire, she can do whatever she wants, and they will like it, at least she assumes so, and has convinced herself it’s 100% true, even if they deny it. On the laptop, she was pulling up the software she designed to track and analyze the tinies, keep up with their vitals, location, almost any statistics she needed, and manage her micro cameras and audio equipment, little did they know, the serum did not only include what was needed to shrink them, but nano trackers that would come to know incredible amounts of details about them. But they could not tell what she was doing on the laptop, it was now outside of her comprehension, since they could not make out what the screen was showing, just blurry colors. Her 1.06-mile form a hazy silhouette through their diffraction-limited eyes. She was only at the laptop for a moment before getting up from her seat and the desk again to go to another part of her bedroom, almost outside of their view.

Caleb muttered, covering himself. “God.. damnit.. uhh, anyone else… feeling this? I’m not the only one.. Right? Please don’t let me the only one with this, uh, issue.” He gestured vaguely, blushing at his arousal. “No, you’re not the only one dude..” Milo quietly replies, crouching a bit and hiding as well, his gaze fixed on Rylenne’s sneakers, 62,137-mile monoliths in distance. Some of the seven.. do not get naked in front of other people often, and although this nakedness was unavoidable, it was still embarrassing for some of them who had no choice how their body reacts. Nora rolled her eyes. “Jesus we just shrunk, its barely been a few minutes.. I get it guys but please focus.. If that is something you two are even capable of right now..” She teases with a snicker “Get boners later, right now we need to pay attention and make sure we know what’s next and what to expect. Nobody mess this up for me, please? I do not want to grow back too soon.” Theo the skeptic grunted judgingly, covering himself a bit with his hand, but not visibly aroused. “I’m not.. too thrilled about being this small. We should’ve stayed bigger. I think around an inch tall would be nice.. More meaningful interaction with the giants that way..” He mutters. “I don’t care how small I am, I’m just glad I shrunk at all, you should be too, we are really damn lucky we got picked you know. We don’t get to pick the specifics Theo. We are not the researchers here.” Lila replies, a bit annoyed at his complaining, not able to relate to his opinions at all. Theo at first does not reply and just stays silent for a moment. “.. Yeah.. sure.. You're right. I’m thankful, just nervous. We are so small we are practically invisible..” Theo finally mutters quietly. “It’s scary, but… kind of beautiful, right? Besides, she probably has gear that will make it easier to see and communicate with us and stuff” Sienna said softly, stepping closer to Caleb. Caleb nodded, their fingers brushing, a quiet moment amid the chaos. As she stepped closer, Caleb felt a bit less embarrassed, afterall, he is among the most relatable and similar people to himself that he has ever met, it’s just a brand new situation, and he has not been this.. exposed in front of so many people. But in this moment, Sienna makes him feel a bit better.

The desk was a rugged plain—wood fibers (0.00039–0.00394 inches = 3.28–32.8 feet) like rolling hills, dust grains (0.000039–0.00039 inches = 0.328–3.28 feet) like boulders. A spilled coffee droplet (0.039 inches = 3280 feet) loomed nearby, its surface tension a shimmering lake. The air, viscous at their scale, resisted movement, making each step a bit of a struggle, at least until they get used to their new sizes and train their muscles for these new tasks and demanding environments. Their bodies, bare, felt the 68°F air as a chilling breeze, heat loss a constant threat. Rylenne returned, her footsteps quaking the desk. She leaned over to her computer to see where exactly they were on the desk, and grabbed a magnifying glass so she could see them with her own eyes again, and made sure she knew exactly where they are. She dropped a pile of nano-woven clothes—white underwear for all, bras for the women, each fiber only a nanometer, a marvel of engineering if you ask me, and tedious to create and get exactly right. “Time to get dressed, tinies.” she boomed, her voice amplified and clarified through a microphone to their audible range, as she leaned over them with her humongous continental magnifying glass, a stronger one than average. “Awee.. you know.. You guys are pretty cute at this size! But I’m not running a nudist colony. These are all I could manage at your scale. You’re welcome.”

The seven scrambled, pulling on the clothes, relieved to not be naked anymore. Lila giggled, adjusting her bra. “Feels like spider silk. Kinda sexy.” Caleb, now covered, relaxed slightly, though his eyes still lingered on Sienna. Theo muttered about them being a bit too big on him, but dressed anyway. The underwear, mostly snug and lightweight, offered little warmth but some dignity at least.

Rylenne stayed leaning over the desk, setting down the magnifying glass a good distance from them, since she knew where they were now, her glasses glinting like 31,070-mile mirrors, her purple-streaked strawberry blonde hair a 1.06 million-mile cascade. “Alright, tinies, time to choose your fate. I figured it would be interesting to let you pick what we do first, I have so many ideas, I could decide, but i'm curious about your opinions.. and what you’ll pick to do, I have six options for today’s experiment. They all will be fun and exciting in their own right, and give me a ton of opportunities to analyze and get data. All of them are perfectly safe and I will be watching the whole time. These scenarios im sure you will be excited for, I came up with them with you seven in mind.. They might seem like.. Just for fun, or silly and unproductive, but they are great at testing out your tiny capabilities and enhancements, and helps me see what I need to tune and adjust. You are practically invincible, I know for a fact your heightened endurance will allow you to survive all of these no problem. You guys are like cute little superheroes, in a way.. Kinda like how an ant is so strong.. for an insect that is. Anyways.. listen up, here is the important part, I will not repeat myself, OK? And don’t worry, my roommate is okay with these.. For sure. I gave her a heads up a while ago about all this possibly happening. She is a scientist in training too, my protege, in a way.” Her tone was a little playful, but a sharp edge and hint of superiority and scientific coldness came through. Rylenne was mostly curious about if they can all agree on what to do, see if they can get along. The psychology of all this was so fascinating to her, seeing how the human brain reacted to being a new size, and how it affects behavior, and human nature, wondering about how much all of this will change them in the long run. She then listed the choices:

“Dropped into my unaware roommate Amber’s sneakers.

Dropped into my sock

Dropped onto a Reese’s candy

Dropped into a syrup bottle in the kitchen.

Dropped into a syrup bottle at the grocery store.

Dropped into Amber’s sock and underwear drawer.”

The tinies whispered, the mic system was not turned on yet, at least not to their knowledge, they talked “privately” amongst themselves, surprised at these options, they were just expecting something more.. scientific, or professional, like a tiny obstacle course or gymnasium or something like that, but they had no complaints, it was just like scenarios they would read about online, and now they get to live them out. This made Theo extremely nervous though, he definitely did not expect this, and the alarm signals in the back of his brain got louder, but he ignored them for now, not wanting to be a buzzkill, he already felt bad enough about complaining earlier. Part of him really wanted to enjoy this with the group, have fun with friends for once in person, but the other part of him was so anxious he could barely talk or think straight. Jasper favored the sneakers option, his fetish for unaware giantesses aligning with Lila’s. “Imagine her foot, not knowing we’re there, do you think she will actually not know we’re there?” he said, a grin spreading. Lila nodded eagerly “Yeah sounds like she will be unaware of us.. Which is interesting.. Im surprised she was okay with that..” Lila replies. Milo, drawn to feet, agreed the sneaker option. Caleb and Sienna, leaned toward the Reese’s, craving a food-based thrill. Nora, liked the syrup bottle apparently since it would be “the most fun option” but she most likely just thought being stuck in maple syrup sounded hot, and did not want to admit it. Theo, wary, wanted the drawer—less immediate danger, a bit of a wimp but still craving some sort of thrill, he is the type to avoid a tall roller coaster, and go for a stroll or try new foods instead, adventurous, he’d have to be for this, but cautious, calculated.

Rylenne then told them that she turned on the communication system, which worked by many microscopic microphones being set up across the desk, and an earbud she has in her ear. They all announced their votes, and although they did not all agree, one option was the most popular. Amber’s Sneakers won with 43% (Jasper, Lila, Milo), Reese’s, the drawer, and the kitchen syrup bottle were the other voted for options. (Caleb/Sienna, Nora, Theo). Theo groaned, nervously saying “I don’t know about this.. We’re just so small.. What if something happens? What if we’re somehow crushed or wind up somewhere you can’t get us?” Rylenne smirked, catching his complaint through her amplifier. “Whining already? You’re test subjects, not tourists. I said, you had nothing to worry about. Be glad I’m giving you choices. I can barely hear your squeaks anyway.” Her facade slipped, a flicker of annoyance revealing her true disdain. The tinies exchanged uneasy glances at the statement, and glared at Theo, disapproving of him.

Next, in response to Theo’s complaints, Rylenne proposed shrinking further, to 0.0000197 inches (500 nm). “It’ll amplify the experience. Trust me, it’s what you signed up for, right? The experience? If everything’s bigger, I bet it will be even more.. Thrilling for you..” She said playfully. Theo was frozen, the thought of getting even smaller was truly terrifying, this was already a bit too much for him, but the rest did not agree whatsoever, most of them thinking the smaller the better. The vote was close—Jasper, Lila, Milo, and Caleb voted yes, driven by their fetishes; Nora, Sienna, and Theo voted no, fearing the unknown, although Nora and Sienna were interested in the idea, they felt like staying at their current size was fine, might be easier to get used to, if such a thing is possible. Majority ruled, and Theo really wanted to refuse and object, but he was scared of what votes it might cause Rylenne to suggest again. Rylenne loaded a micro-syringe, its 0.000039 inches needle a 6.56-foot lance to the tinies. One by one, she dropped a bit of the serum onto them, the nanites getting absorbed into their skin, changing and adjusting their DNA once again, sparing their nano-woven clothes (designed to shrink, unlike normal fabric).

(Lila POV) Oh god, it’s happening again. My body tingles, then collapses inward, the desk exploding to a 2.11 million-foot plain. Rylenne’s a 2.11 billion-foot titan, her hair a red-blonde galaxy. Time’s weirder now—molecular hits (10¹⁰ Hz) are a constant buzz, each normal sized second feels a lot longer now, but her movements are glacial, a mesmerizing, beautiful cosmic dance..

(Narrator POV) The others shrank, their squeaks rising to 20–40 kHz, audible only to each other. Jasper rallied them again, his underwear snug, his arousal evident but he acts unfazed, always trying to appear calm and cool, in a way. “We’re in this together. Let’s make it the best time of our lives. Stay sharp, and stay close, no matter what.” Sienna, now clinging to Caleb, a bit dizzy from the shrinking, nodded, her bra shifting as she shivered. Nora, ever practical, checked her underwear’s fit, muttering about survival odds. Theo paced, furious at the new scale. Milo stared at Rylenne’s feet/socks during all this, his fetish overriding fear, mesmerized and entranced by the surreal sights, he could definitely get used to this. Rylenne scooped them into a 0.039-inch vial (6560-foot long), its glass walls a shimmering cliff. She carried them to Amber’s room, the journey a quaking odyssey, each step (~3.28 ft/s) a 6.56 million-foot/s tremor. Amber was at her morning biology class, her favorite sneakers—worn black Nikes, size 8—waiting in her closet. Rylenne tipped the vial, dropping the tinies into the sneaker’s insole, a 62,137 square mile wasteland of fabric and sweat.

The seven tinies landed gently on the insole, a fibrous jungle stretching like a continent. At 0.0000197 inches, the sneaker’s interior was incomprehensible: Fabric fibers (0.00039–0.00394 inches = 65.6–656 feet): Towering trees, their nylon strands woven into a 62-mile canopy. Sweat residues (0.000039–0.00039 inches = 6.56–65.6 feet): Salty lakes, their sodium crystals glinting like 6.56-foot gems. Dust particles (0.0000039–0.00039 inches = 0.656–65.6 feet): Boulders, scattered across the insole’s valleys. Insole pores (0.00394–0.0394 inches = 656–6560 feet): Caverns, their depths swallowing light. The sneaker, 9.84 inches long, was 310,686 miles—a distance rivaling Earth’s diameter at their scale. The smell was intense, a mix of sweat, leather, and Amber’s lingering foot odor, vibrating their receptors like a chemical storm. The air, 68°F but humid (70% RH), felt stifling, capillary forces (10⁻¹² N) sticking them to fibers. Time was surreal—molecular collisions (10¹⁰ Hz) made each second a frenetic epic, Amber’s distant movements (if she returned) looming like slow cosmic shifts.

(Caleb’s POV) This is insane. The insole’s a forest, fibers like 656-foot redwoods, their tips frayed and glistening with sweat. It stinks—salty, musky, like Amber’s feet are still here. I’m so fucking aroused, like never before, my underwear tight, but scared too—Sienna’s hand is in mine, and it grounds me. We.. just understand eachother. Always have, and i’m glad we are here together. In this moment, I feel like I could not do this without her. We’re 0.0000197 inches tall, our 0.00000000000025-ounce bodies battling adhesion. I can lift 0.000000000042 ounces, but walking’s slow—0.000000162 inches/s, like trudging through glue. The others are spread out, their squeaks echoing. Jasper’s ahead, fearless. I want this, but… what if Amber comes to put on her shoes? What will that be like? I know were more resistant, but it might be more hellish than the stories online make it seem.. Right now, that is becoming more and more evident. While this is a dream for sure, it can quickly become a nightmare if we are not careful I bet. But I truly do not think Rylenne will let anything bad happen. I am sure I am just overthinking things, she is a professional afterall.

(Narrator POV) Jasper led the group, climbing a 65.6-foot fiber. “We need a plan. Explore, find a safe spot, a good spot to observe if anything cool ends up happening, we can set up a nice camp I bet.” Lila, grinning, followed, her fetish for feet fueling her. “This is perfect. Her foot’s gonna be… wow. I hope she chooses these shoes..” Milo nodded, silent but eager. Now that they are in the scenario, they don’t feel as embarrassed talking about their thoughts, they are in this together and share a lot of the same feelings, might as well be unfiltered. Nora, scanning the terrain, suggested a pore for shelter. Theo, trailing, snapped, “This is suicide. We’re invisible! I highly doubt we are actual invincible. Something is not right guys, I have a bad feeling about all of this.” The rest of the group ignored him. Sienna whispered to Caleb, “To be honest, I’m a little scared, but… with you, it’s okay. Please stay close, like Jasper said, I don’t want us to be separated, okay?” Their bond deepened, a flicker of romance and deep trust, amongst all the chaos.

An hour passed, the tinies exploring the insole’s edge, a 656-foot cliff dropping to the sneaker’s sole. A rumble shook the world—Amber was home. Her footsteps were earthquakes, the closet door’s creak a sonic boom. Light flooded in, her 1.06 billion-foot form a hazy colossus. Her red hair, a 1.06 billion-foot nebula, swayed; her glasses, 62,137-mile mirrors, glinted. She hummed, oblivious, grabbing the sneakers. “Oh shit.. holy shit.. she’s here. This is it!” Milo yells in excitement.(Lila POV) The sneaker lurches, a 310,686-mile continent tilting. Amber’s foot, a 124,274-mile mountain, hovers—a sweaty, pink expanse, pores (0.00394 inches = 656 feet) like craters. The smell hits, a musky tidal wave, my bra sticking to my skin. I’m 0.0000197 inches, my 0.00000000000025-ounce mass glued to a fiber. I scream, a mix of excitement and fear as if im on a humongous rollercoaster, but my 40 kHz squeak’s lost. She’s slipping her foot in, time slowing—her toes covered by her pink sock, 12,427-mile each, descend like meteors. I dive for a pore, my strength (0.000000000042 ounces lift) pulling me free.

(Narrator POV)Amber’s foot slid in, her 124,274-mile toes crushing fibers. Most of the group was split up by the massive shifts and movements, like the entire planet is being pushed around. Jasper and Lila, near the toe section, were swept under, their bodies pinned. With a literally crushing realization, some of the seven quickly realized a horrible fact: Rylenne lied. They are nowhere near invincible. Not even close. Jasper suffocated, his body crushed; Lila, trapped in a micro sweat droplet, drowned, her lungs failing. Caleb and Sienna, near the arch, clung to a fiber, surviving as Amber’s foot settled. Nora reached a 656-foot pore, safe. Milo stayed near the toes, pinned but alive in a crevice, but not for long, as Amber wiggled and moved around her toes while tying her shoes. Theo, panicking, fell to the sole (0.0000197 inches = 3.28-foot drop, safe at 0.0197 ft/s), luckily he survived, but was trapped under debris. The survivors did not know the fates of the others who were not as lucky, but also did not feel very enhanced at all.

Jasper, Lila, and Milo awoke with a jolt, gasping for air and still in shock, in a massive, glowing and metallic expanse. Not far from them was a unending glass wall, where in the distance they saw Rylenne, looking at something besides them, not even paying attention. Somehow, it seemed they were back on the desk, but just a moment ago, they were dead, unmistakably so, they felt it, they felt it all, the pain was immeasurable. Jasper, disoriented, pounded the glass. “What… what the.. What the hell is going on? I fucking died! I was dead! Where the hell are we?!” Lila, shaking, had her arms around her legs as the sat on the cold metallic floor of whatever they were inside. “She lied Jasper. We are so far from fucking invincible.. And now.. What are we? We’re… clones? What is this? Were we really even there? Was her roommate actually given a heads up about this shit? I am so fucking confused Jasper..” It turns out, the serum’s nanites had preserved their memories, rebuilding them from stored DNA in Rylenne’s newest invention, a micro sized cloning chamber.

Rylenne, eyes glued to the screen, monitoring the others via her tracker, then leaned in, her 2.11 billion-foot face a blur. “Relax, you’re fine. The contract covers this, if you bothered to even read it. If you did, you would not be so surprised. Research isn’t done. You’re staying small until it’s over. While the technical word for this is cloning, you really are no different than before, you still have your memories and everything that makes you, you.” Jasper and Lila were speechless, they did not know what to think of this.. They were still in shock, from both the shrinking and the sudden cloning, or whatever Rylenne calls it. Meanwhile, Milo was fine with this so far, not caring about the cloning, choosing not to overthink it. “It’s… kinda cool. I’m back, living the fantasy.” Lila, torn, nodded, her fetish overriding ethics, at least for now, while Jasper was still undecided on how he felt about it. Lila and Jasper were also starting to become afraid of speaking up, they did not want to piss off Rylenne, but she was starting to worry, how long will this research end up even lasting? It was exciting at first but dying was not fun whatsoever. The research is only supposed to only last about a week, but she is starting to get the feeling that it’s going to go on for much longer. The trio wonder what is going on in the shoe, and how the rest of the seven are doing, they hope they are not having as rough of a experience as they did, and hope they make it to the end alive, but until they show back up here, they will have no idea.
