The way he portrayed the innocence of Piles that slowly lost himself to become totally broken was amazing.

Also, that is exactly who I was thinking of! The man is incredible, he's such an underrated actor.

Kind of like the director Stanley Kubrick, can't go wrong with either one. * R. Lee Ermey was originally hired as a military advisor, but once they realized how ingrained the lifestyle of a Drill Sergeant was into his personality, they had to use him in the role. (and I don't think Drill Sergeants are allowed to be as "rough" as this anymore lol)
