So today's my birthday and I decided to finish the day watching one of my favorite movies with you guys... so welcome to the party!

2023-06-18 03:55:43 +0000 UTCI couldn't believe how good this was when I first saw it, I was not expecting much, I thought it was going to be like one of those stupid animated barbie movies or something and for a movie that is just a advertisement they did not need to put this much effort into, it's so creative and you know they were lego fans and wanted to make something special. The ending really is what makes the movie, it's hilarious up until then but it's the heart and ties everything together. Now when you go back and re-watch you see the hints, like all the little noises that's clearly a kid now and the missed pronouncing of things. You know you did something right when everyone is raging that it wasn't even nominated for an Oscar, myself included. The animation is amazing and I love that it's mostly practical, they use real legos, obviously CGI is there as well but the water, fire and everything they use are real legos and I love that, you know everyone behind the camera worked really hard. But since you did this movie it's only natural for you to do Lego Batman now! Also another movie that is kind of similar that I think you would like if you haven't seen it already is Wreck-It Ralph, so good!
