Honestly seeing how young those two were in this film totally blew me away, I'm so used to seeing how they are nowadays lol. I was also thinking that these kids parents were casted so well with how much alike they were; knowing some of them were their parents makes it so much better

It really captures childhood and I think we all have wanted to go on an adventure like this, it's kind of like a kids dream. All the kids in this were so good and they felt like real kids! So many times in movies you wonder if the writers have ever been around kids but here you get that in this movie. They are loud, they lie and make up stories, they swear, they are kind of mean to each other but you also see how much they care for each other. The bad guys are so over the top and cartoony but still are menacing and you get that they wouldn't probably hesitate to kill them. Sloth and Chunk's friendship has always been one of my favorite parts of the film, they are so sweet together. Probably one of my favorite jokes is when Sloth pushes up the pipes, you don't see what happens or even know what happens all you hear is all this chaos and that makes it 10x funnier. The humor in this is just great! Some fun facts, the kid's reactions seeing the ship for the first time were real, they hadn't seen the ship beforehand. And in the end besides Brand and Mikey's all the parents are the kid's real parents, you can see definitely see the resemblances with Data and his father and Chunk's mother and sister, they look just alike. It's funny that the cop mentions Gremlins and Mouth (Corey Feldman) was in I believe Gremlins 2 or 3, I know he's in the sequel, nice little shout out. Can you believe that Brand would grow up to be Thanos?? Or Mikey growing up to be Samwise?
