Since we've been doing a lot of Adam Sandler movies of late, this was one recommended a ton; incredibly good message delivered through this movie!

Click is interesting because for me the first half of this movie is fine, I laugh but there are a lot of jokes for me that fall flat or drag out a little too long. But the second half is amazing! It becomes such a great and emotional drama. Most people say they lose it at the end with him in the rain and yes it's very emotional but I lose it with his father. From the moment he finds out and tries to go back to the moment he died but can't because he wasn't there is so sad and when you see him so disgusted with himself and the look on his father's face is heartbreaking! And the icing on the cake is when he constantly rewinds the "I love you son," just gets me! It hits hard I think because it can be so relatable, we're all going to lose our parents someday if not for a lot already have and anyone could become this way. What makes this scene even more impactful is Adam was not acting here, not too long before this he had lost his father, he actually dedicated 50 First Dates to him, there's a little message for him in the end credits of that film, so those tears were real, no acting needed. I can't remember where I either read or watched it but Henry Winkler was talking about it and how it was so emotional and how honored he was that Adam chose him to be the proxy for his father, it's just so sweet and sad at the same time. But man it is so good, it feels like a different writer came in and wrote the second half, lol. Christopher Walken you can tell was just doing whatever he wanted in this, lol. Sometimes I wonder if he reads his lines but then ends up saying whatever he wants. This movie does make me remember what a great actor Adam is, he's not just the funny man that does silly voices, I love when he showcases this and wish he did it more. Oh and a little fun fact if Michael's mother sounded familiar that would be because she voices Marge from The Simpsons.
