Rango Full Movie Reaction!

Though, I also strongly disagree with you on Rango being bland; he was a fantastic character. He was a reflection of the chameleon he was, a creature that can blend in anywhere but had no true identity of his own and through his journey he truly find himself. I'm considering more animated, I've already looked into quite a few of the ones you mentioned as well!

2023-05-24 15:51:56 +0000 UTCI know this film has a huge fan base and I'm glad you guys really enjoyed it but for me this film is just okay, I don't hate it or anything but I don't love it either. There is quite a few things I do like, such as the animation is beautiful, it really feels like your in a desert and you feel the dry and dreariness of it. There's also quite a few funny and clever jokes and I love the character designs, I like that they didn't make them pretty, they made them look more realistic, I especially love the snake design. I'm a big fan of snakes and I always like seeing them being represented in films, although they always vilify them but I get why, they are intimidating and I know a lot of people do have fear of snakes so they are an easy target but I would like one of these days the snake being a hero, lol. And I also appreciate the hard work that goes into these kinds of films. The couple problems I have is first I think the overall story is lacking, it's pretty standard, I've seen this similar plot in several other films, not just animated ones but films in general. There's not very many surprises or twists and turns really. When I first saw it I knew where it was going from start to finish and I'm not the biggest fan of westerns in general. My other problem is the Rango character, I think he's pretty bland and dull, not much to him. I don't know if that was intentional but I think the townspeople have more personality and charm then him. Again, I'm glad you guys enjoyed it, I know a lot of people do and I get why but it's just fine for me. I'm glad your doing more animated films, I always like when you guys react to them because you take them seriously and don't look down on them just because they are animated. Actually some others I would love to see you react to and of course if you haven't seen already are Wreck-It Ralph, Tangled, Cloudy With A Chance Of Meatballs, Land Before Time, quite a few Don Bluth films would be awesome, Enchanted (I know that's kind of cheating but it still counts), Big Hero 6 and maybe some more Pixar/Disney films you haven't seen yet.
