Nobody convinced us, the movie did; it makes me less excited to even watch the next one when this one was such a downgrade from the original. What sucks most of all, is the decisions they made for this film lol.

But yes it's not as good as the first, it isn't as gritty, it's very kid friendly and the jokes is definitely targeted for kids. And there is a reason for that and it is because parents complained a lot about the first one being too violent and too much swearing so they had to tone it down for this one. If you notice they hardly ever use their weapons and use other things instead, the beginning scene shows that the most for me at least. And I can't help but sing along to Go Ninja Go, it is annoyingly catchy and it was always my favorite part of the movie, lol. Yes they got a different actress for April, I'm not sure why but she is just not as good here, for me she falls very flat and doesn't really have that much of a personality and I just didn't sense her bond as much with them like the first and Casey Jones' absents was very missed for me. I do like Keno but they never even mention Casey. The one big thing I did like about this one was giving Donnie much more of a role, in the first he kind of just seems like Mikey but here they give him more of an arc and it's established in this one that he's the smart one which they never really showed him to be that way in the first. But a fun fact the actor who played Keno was actually one of the stunt doubles that was in the turtle costume in the first one, so it's pretty cool that he actually got a role here and he really is a very good martial artist. Do not see 3! It's labeled one of the worst sequels ever for a reason, I only know just a few people who liked it.

Oh and this was when Vanilla Ice was popular so naturally they had him in the soundtrack and in the movie. Still had fun with this one
