2023-09-25 06:52:54 +0000 UTCFor me this one is just garbage. April just so happens to find this magical time machine teleporter, it's just so dumb and I think it's boring. The villain is also so boring and the turtles look so bad. Not as bad as they would become in other appearances like the Christmas special or when they were in a band, yes that happened but this was the beginning of that. Say what you want about 2 but as least they still looked good. The only saving grace this movie had was bringing back Casey even though it doesn't explain his disappearance in the last movie. He genuinely has great comedic timing but even then he's reduced to babysitting. And April is just awful. They bring back the actress from 2 and yet try to give her the personality of 1 which didn't work, it just came off forced and awkward, she didn't act this way at all in 2 and you can't just try to go back to 1 out of nowhere, lol. I can watch 2 just fine, yes it's not good but I have so much nostalgia for that movie and it does give me a little happiness since it reminds me when I watched it with my siblings and us laughing like dumb kids, lol. And even though it wasn't done that well I appreciate that they tried to learn more about their past and how they came to be. And yes I still have a soft spot for Go Ninja Go, I can't help but sing to it and it annoyingly sticks in my brain, lol.

2023-09-24 20:34:35 +0000 UTCYeah my family and I saw this in the theater and it was a little meh. Maybe it was because I was older. Maybe because the comedic fish out of water slapstick got old. Maybe because they tried way too hard. I was mildly entertained, but this is cringe now. Ah well.
