Pilots back in the day were looked at like Rock stars for sure. Flying was such a great experience back in those days. And because of buys like Frank is why we have so much security nowadays ha The scene with Jennifer Garner is hilarious. She's trying to take him and he ended up turning it around where she paid him 400 for the night ha.

I loved all the little moments to show that he really was just a kid, like asking for milk or using superhero names and I liked that Carl even though he could be hard on him still saw him as that, a kid. Even though they aren't on screen together very much Leo and Tom had great chemistry. Leo is so good, this is one of his most underrated performances in my opinion that I wish got discussed more, so charming and you really feel for him. It's just so sad he had that delusion of if he got all the money his father lost that it would fix everything, she would go right back to him. He couldn't even really admit that they were divorced and I think that the reason why he didn't just pick his dad which would have been the obvious choice since they were clearly closer was not only because he believed in their marriage so much and it devastating him but also by choosing was making it final. it was like when he ran away that was stopping it or putting it on hold and now he had to fix it before it was too late but sadly it was. Of course Tom Hanks is always great, I love his dry humor. I am so conflicted with what I want though, I want Frank to get away but I also want Carl to catch him, lol. This has a great cast with several people that were really starting out with their careers like Amy Adams, Elizabeth Banks and Jennifer Garner. And honestly I think this is one of Christopher Walkens' best performances. He is always great & funny, always the best part of the movie he's in even if the film is bad but because he plays such odd, weird, over the top characters I think people forget what range he has as an actor and he breaks my heart every time when he gets choked up talking about his ex-wife, well really any time he's talking about her. It is so devastating when you hear about his death, you feel like Frank, it's just so unexpected. And you can really see that it was hard for Carl to tell him. It's just such a great movie, very funny. I would love to see you guys do more Leo movies, especially his younger work like What's Eating Gilbert Grape, This Boy's Life and I think Titanic would be a lot of fun.
