I just had a conversation with a patron that played the new update and was significantly bothered by the implication that the landlord accidently killed your father. This is hinted at if you stay on your landlord's good side, but more explicitly suggested if you piss her off.
This could easily be changed to her accidently hurting him and sending him away, if this is something that bothers many people.
To be clear, there are no plans to delve into your fathers death. It was only intended to be background motivation for your landlord. Still, I can understand how just the mention of it might bother some people.
How do you feel about the implication that the landlord killed your father on accident?

To be fair, all of the fetish switches in the game make it playable as a much tamer experience. If you're someone who plays the game with a lot of the fetishes disabled, the mentions of death would probably come as more of a shock. This is especially true once I update the gentle route, which has a much lighter tone.

After all it's an adult game and just fiction (by the way I'm pretty sure that nearly everyone played a first-person shooter game or watched a splatter movie recently). The reason why I became a patron of yours is that I was aware that you tend to exceed limits. So, personally speaking, I don't mind if the landlord killed her husband accidentally or on purpose, or if a female tribunal sentenced him to death due to inappropriate behavior towards superior women (as a matter of fact I would prefer the latter). Anyway, I would appreciate more snuff scenes as well as more harshness and cruelty generally in your games - after all it's just fiction and we all should know how to handle it. Keep up your great work and stay kinky.

I ask because Eric could bring up the topic during his second date with one of the girls. Each girl could have a different reaction and add another yet small bit of development to their character.

2022-05-03 04:11:56 +0000 UTCI elaborate a bit more in my reply to layla above, but I think I'm going to add a snuff/death switch to the fetish selector. That way people people who are bothered by it won't have to deal with it, and I can dive into it more for people who do like it.

If it's disabled, she'll say she hurt him and he ran off. If it's not, not only will she say she killed him, but you'll get to see it.

I'm able to stomach dark content and don't mind the implication of Mistress killing Eric's dad on accident in the game (if you decide to keep it as your final decision). But manslaughter is pretty serious, and it'd be better if she went too far and he leaves her. Just wouldn't be a fan of her being this outlier of killing someone on accident when every other female character wouldn't seriously hurt Eric, regardless of the route.

She turns her back to him as she waves her hand manifesting a hollow style memory from her perspective. Choosing only to listen to his audible horror as her back is turned to him while he watches how the gruesome death of his father plays out over and over. Once she's heard enough of his tear filled whimpers from his soaked face. She looks at him again grinning at the pure terror in his eyes as he finally beholds just how horrible his Mistress can truly be.
