I remember when this was THE movie that everyone was talking about and this was in the days before the internet became what it did. This won awards, everyone was raving about it and it still holds up to this day but I also feel it's gotten lost over the years.

I remember when I was in the Navy, I was on deployment on a carrier and I went to the ships library and Grishams book "The Client" was laying there on the counter to be checked back in, I checked it out, read it in like 2 days, went back and checked out the Firm and then A Time to Kill. A Time to Kill was his first novel that he ever wrote but I was hooked on his stories ever since. I remember watching the movie The Firm (first one based off his books) followed by Pelican Brief and the Client saw those in the theater, then came A Time to Kill this movie and it's still one of my favorite legal films followed by The Firm(Tom Cruise, Gene Hackman), The Client(Susan Surandon and Tommy lee Jones), Runaway Jury( John Cusack, Rachel Weisz, Gene Hackman and Dustin Hoffman) and The Rainmaker (Matt Damon, Claire Danes and Danny Devito).. I believe the late great Gene Hackman starred the most in Grisham Film adaptions. I recommend all of them.

The one guy that was killed in the beginning was the guy that played Percy, the awful guard from The Green Mile. For the Molotov cocktail, that was a strategic attack. The other guys got him alone and separated from the crowd and once they cleared out the guy on the roof threw it. The Mickey Mouse guy just couldnβt give his real name of course, however using the name of your, what seems to be, one and only tattoo seems dumb, but maybe thatβs just me. Up next, Double Jeopardy (and Hamilton).
