DevLog #29 - Release date revealed!

Hey everyone,

It’s been a long time since our last post.

We’re really sorry about that.

There isn’t much of an exciting reason behind it, even if that might sound disappointing. I kept putting off writing this devlog until the new version was ready, but since we’ve reached the end of the month, I think it’s only fair to let you know: yes, we’re still here.

As always, development has taken longer than I expected (and would’ve liked).

In September, I’ve been working on fixing potential bugs related to the new systems (Chapter Report and Intimacies) as well as on Erika’s second scene in Chapter 1. Most of my time was spent on that, especially the new animations. I’ve started using a new animation software, like I mentioned in the previous devlog. I'm still learning, and I feel like I'm getting better with each animation I make.

Erika's second scene had to be completely reworked to match her other scenes. I'll share previews of her and talk about the changes in a members-only post. I can't use that kind of... imagery in a public post due to Patreon ToS. That post will be released before Extended version. Oh, yeah, and about that...

Extended version will be released in one week. That is October 7.

And I'm not sure if it will still have bugs. I'll release any necessary bugfixes.

Meanwhile, here are some previews of the Extended version.

Please keep in mind that the Extended version does not include any new content related to story progression. It builds on what's already there and lays the groundwork for new content.

On another note, the final Special Render with the Sporty theme, featuring Cassandra, will be available in a few days (for everyone on the $5 tier). In addition, I'll send it to inactive members who voted back then. Due to the significant delay, I will post two renders rather than one.

I intend to be more strict about deadlines for exclusive content. Basically following a set schedule, but I'll go into more detail in a post-release devlog.

Part C will be back in development as soon as the Extended version is released.

Of course, you can expect regular posts again.

I needed to devote my full attention to the game, and I believe it paid off. This post is bittersweet, but at least you know I am still alive.
