Question: CB Fans to CB Gamers
Added 2023-05-30 21:20:21 +0000 UTCSo I noticed this trend a while back, and I'm not quite certain I understand, but I see a lot of individuals originally pledge to the CB Fan tier and then immediately switch to the CB Gamers tier.
Is this due to confusion as to which tiers provide which benefits, or is there something else I'm missing?
Would love some feedback on this.

Indeed it does. I did t realize I had people following me who see post titles but not post content. Figured anyone pledging does so since they found me from DeviantArt but that's clearly wrong ha. Thank you for letting me know.

2023-05-31 20:46:05 +0000 UTCI did this yesterday, So I clicked on the post that says "Version 14 out now" and it took me to payment, I clicked pay and I was like, cool, time to download. I click the link for download, takes me to another post which is "Click here to join tier" which is £4.50 If I had gone across the tiers on the top, I obviously saw the "This won't give access" but I just clicked through the post. Hope that helps explain it

2023-05-31 05:56:25 +0000 UTCI did it because I thought the "D.I.E.T video trailer" post was the correct to sub too, then I clicked on the link listed, and then I had to change tier in order to get access to the post where the drive.google link is.

2023-05-31 02:13:37 +0000 UTCToday alone I've had several people do it. One updated to CB Gamers in 1 minute. Another in 3 minutes. Someone else literally joined CB Fan at 2:43 PM and within the same minute updated to CB Gamers. I might need to create an account and pledge to myself to test out if they retain the access to CB Fan content when then upgrade to CB Gamers.

2023-05-30 22:04:53 +0000 UTCNot sure how "immediate" immediately is. If it's a few hours, they might be exploiting you, if I understand Patreon right. I think the way it works is Patreon credits the dollar value of your pledge and those have the same dollar value - they go for CB Fan, download/look at / save all the stuff they have access to, and then swap to CB Gamers for the game.

2023-05-30 21:53:44 +0000 UTCthe note you put on cb supporters "this does not give access to the visual novel", I would suggest you also put on the cb fan tier description. I think they are trying to get access to the visual novel. Can't be 100% sure though. I've been subbed to you too long to remember if there was an initial confusion on my end haha
