The thing with Magna lying about the weapons is that if you think about it, didn't our group do the same type of thing multiple times in the past? Rick hid a gun outside Alexandria when they first got there. Who would want to walk blindly into a place with their loved ones and NOT have a backup plan? Personally, I really enjoy Magna's character.

It does make me feel even more sad for Carl's death though because he would've been sooo good in this part of the story, without Rick. He could have been there to help the communities and help Michonne with Judith and the new baby :(

Each week just dragged on and on and on and I just wasn't as interested in keeping up with the show anymore. Season 9 brought me back in full swing. Its the most fun Ive had with the Walking Dead in years. Super excited to see yall experience it!

Walkers talking foreshadowed by that scene with Jadis and Gabriel in the museum talking about evolution... It has also been 6 years, Negans been in the cell for around 7 years, so a total of 8/9 years of the apocalypse so far. Gabriel and Rosita is something my brain can NEVER accept to this day lmao. They just...don't have that chemistry. The stuff with Michonne does have more to it that gets explained BUT Rick's departure was representative of the communities being torn apart. Alot has happened during the 6 years. The bridge didn't just connect Alexandria to sanctuary, it connected them to every other group, they used thst bridge for all trading. By blowing up the bridge Rick sacrificed himself and the connection between communities in a sense.
