I didn't want to burn myself out doing nothing but paintings, but I found it tough reach back toward simpler stylization again. ...Which isn't really surprising because thanks to a youth spent painting model aircraft and Warhammer 40,000, I've done more painting in my life than any other form of art. Most of my art background beyond that which isn't is late 80's mid 00's videogame art - you might have noticed my longstanding affinity for square aspect ratios, powers of two, and dithering.
