After much deliberation, and feedback from folks, I settled on these 2! Click to see the full images!
This was my personal favorite of the thumbnails, and a lot of folks agreed this one was good, it takes the bland and stiff previous splashes for this skin in the game and makes it more lively and personal, aha.
But this one is a combination of the bottom-left thumbnail and the top-right thumbnail. based on feedback this one feels most 'in the jungle' but I admit I was pretty concerned because of the more involved perspective in the thumbnail. I've made quite a few adjustments though in return. 
Sorry this post is a day late, meant to have it out on Wednesday, but this project ain't easy, that's for sure. Pretty glad I challenged myself to go with these ones though. I thiiink I might just settle up with the second sketch here, it seems the most interesting and there's a lot of lighting I can play with. But what do yall think? :)
