Rumble in the Jungle - III (Shading)

I've picked my poison! This is the sketch I'll be moving forward with. It feels the most dynamic and most 'in the jungle' while also showing off Rumble's personality best.

For presentation's sake I've let the sketch from the last post show through, but we're in the down-n-dirty and ugly stages of a painting for me. I can't tell you how difficult this was haha. Hands down, least favorite stage! (Especially trying to paint a background, heavens save me)

But it's all up from here. Sort of. Tons of challenges left to tackle at some point, such as-

+ Adding Water(and splash effects!)

+ Refining edges, for the background and everything else

+ Adjusting/introducing local values in parts of the mech and background, and character

+ And of course, adding color!

+ Then comes all the REAL fun stuff, editing and lighting adjustments, playing around.

If I'm real ambitious it'll take 6ish weeks to do it all, 1 step per week, though the order of them all varies honestly.(Usually I like special effects n such like water to be dealt with at the end).
