Welcome back to my work-in-progress post for a portfolio piece! (Where I recreate a splash art for one of the League of Legends skins for the champion, Rumble) The previous update can be found here: https://www.patreon.com/posts/31156921
HOOO WEE I think I've easily spent 20 hours on this so far. I admit it was pretty hard getting colors on this one! The background has also started coming together, I don't dislike it too much.
The photoshop file for this project has gotten to about 450MB due to the amount of layers I keep for archiving purposes, so with this step finished I've flattened the entire thing save for some notable layers I use like the perspective grid, value checking layer, etc. So now it's a much more manageable 99MB, so my computer doesn't lag whenever I put in a command.
To some, they may ask "it's done now, right?" Nope! Lot more to do, if you can believe it! But we're making progress. Fingers crossed I finished this in 2 weeks. Here's what is left to do:
+ Adding Water(and splash effects!)
+ Refining edges, for the background and everything else
+ Editing and lighting adjustments, the fun stuff for me!
Anyway! Thanks for your time reading about my thoughts on how this is coming along. Don't be shy on commenting! Any thoughts or questions about the process lemme know.
