Yep, 3 months have gone by, and it’s been the roughest start of a year I’ve ever had the displeasure of experiencing, and I'm sure that goes for a lot of you. Though it’s mostly chalked up to the pandemic and having to move during it. My fingers crossed that 7 days from now I’m finally settling into my new place.
Right, so now's the time for the quarter in review; I’ll do these every 3 months on my progress towards my goal of doing art full time. I’ve so far reached 29% of my financial goal for the year with art, and I’ve streamed over 50 hours over on Picarto. I’ve uploaded about 35 pieces/posts of art! I’ve gotten almost 200 more watchers on FA and 430 followers on Twitter! These are all what I’ve done or what I’ve attained as a result of what I’ve done. It’s all results. But how effective is what I’m doing? That’s the real question to posit, if I want to improve.
I do like the look of the results I’ve gotten, so in that sense I can keep going as normal. Though as I write this I’m on an 11 day streak of not posting anything on FA/Twitter. Which I can blame on the current life situation, but I do need to get back into the swing of things and post more regularly again. At the very least, once the move is finished on the 14th, some semblance of normalcy could return to my life. But I think what I’m going to do is get out of bed earlier and crank out a picture on this laptop and post it before I start my day job working from home at my desk.
As for this Patreon and commissions, I’ll see if I can open up for commissions later this month; I might have to be very limited about it, taking 2 or 3 slots. For Patreon, considering I hit my max capacity for the AMA tier(which means a lot, especially during this difficult time) I am increasing the AMA tier to 15 spots instead of 10! So if you are on the NukiNews Tier and wanted in on the AMA spot, I’ve increased the capacity as of this posting, so you should be able to edit your pledge to select the Ask me anything tier!
The next 4 months are likely going to be me adapting to my new environment, and hopefully ramping up to do great things. As always, thank you for joining me and reading! I'm realizing more what it will take to get where I want to be, and there's a lot of learning and growing to be done.
