Nuki News #38: What should Nuki News look like in 2021?

So, with the last Nuki News of the year being on the 30th, I wanna do somethin’ different here and get your thoughts on the series, Nuki News itself!

Namely, what have you enjoyed about these?  Has there been a favorite Nuki News post of yours? Multiple? Did you go through the trouble of reading some of them and find they drone on and on and had no value to you? Thoughts on how you feel about ‘em is valuable here! You can DM me elsewhere or on Patreon too if you prefer to keep it private, too.

I’ll admit, since doing a sort of ‘weekly blog’ for the first time as a habit, I have been a tad all over the place! Going from giving advice about life, being an artist, or sharing what I learned from peers, to talking about food, or why I enjoy bellies, or how moving sucks. So I could certainly move away from making it so varied and get a bit of focus on what Nuki News will be about moving forward in 2021.

Since I now no longer have a day job holding me back, I can dedicate myself to a personal project or somesuch, too. I have ideas on directions to take nuki news- such as streamlining it to be a sort of ‘summary of things I did this week” with a smattering of images/WIPs I made. Or I can pick like a top 3 pictures friends/art peers made that I really enjoyed that week(because art kinda gets consumed at a break-neck pace these days, it’d be neat to have a space to really dig into them, since I’m a bit of an art nerd).

There’s also a chance to just do away with it, but I think that’d be the least likely option. I think as long as even just 1 person gets something from these, then it’s worthwhile, but at the same time I would prefer to spend my time on a weekly thing that actually is valuable to the most amount of patrons!

So with all this in mind, I’ll make a Poll in 2-3 days so folks can have an easier way to weigh in, as I know trying to come up with something to comment during these times is mentally draining as it is. But, for those of you who want to give thoughts or ideas for these weekly segments, please do! You could influence the poll I make as well. It’s also fine if it turns out only a few of you read these- the support means most to me, and I figure a number of patrons just want a way to show that support in a more affordable avenue.
