Nuki News #45 - Fatties Fed Food!

Before I get into the Nuki News proper and show off the sketches of commission work I’m doing, I wanted to say hello and thank you if you’re new to this Patreon page! Next month will be my 2 year anniversary! I was very thrilled to find my commission queue filled quickly this month. Funnily, a lot of them ended up having a theme of being food related and a character eating. Last month also ended up with a theme of nicely rotound dragons, so I wonder if months going forward may end up with around 3 pictures of a similar theme or scenario. It’s kinda amusing and fun though, and gets me some good reps in on whatever I’m tasked with!

Here are the sketches of the commissions I’m working on- note these are the sketch WIPs, so the final images I’ll be uploading next month on my FA and Twitter may have changes in them!

I do admit this may be one of the first times I get a tad lost in what I’ve drawn- since I’ve drawn so much now I’m starting to forget art I’ve done, haha! But that’s probably a good thing. Last year I was working on ‘letting go’ and that involved me not being too too precious and perfectionist with my art. I still do my best to make quality, but now producing it on a balanced rate with quantity no single picture holds more importance than another these days. There’ll be some stand outs of course that I hope up, but now I have a lot to choose from!

Heck, I may have a future where I exclude commissioned work from my end of year summaries and focus on personal work- that’d be pretty amazing to accomplish with the amount of art I get to do now. Not that commission work is bad- I just mean, now that I have the time for personal work AND commission work, I can look at my personal work progression again.
