Nuki News #70: Joy to the World II

When we last left off in June, I was sharing some concept work for the story I want to tell, I'm calling 'Joy to the World.'

I haven't totally officially started, but, I'm making steps towards it. I still don't have a proper story telling structure for how it will be presented. There isn't a script, either- I'm too intimidated by such a task. As well, I don't have the story solidified enough in my brain. It's hard to envision a certain beginning-middle-end. Unlike other stories I've had, this one feels so... emotional. I've managed to write more notes down(big thanks to my pal DragonTzin for assistance with that) and try to write down a conversation with Ethan and Joy, but I don't quite feel like they're ready to write themselves yet. 

HOWEVER...I wanna show off the wins when I get them. Working for myself, a non-kink story is super difficult and tiring hahah. I finally made a ref sheet for Ethan!

I also made the decision to make separate social media accounts for this story. Over the years I had very different mindsets about this sort of thing- whether to make separate accounts or not. But at this point the audience I have on twitter/FA expect certain content, and frankly I'd rather know that people who decided to follow my accounts are following it for the right reason. Basically, I want folks who want the kink stuff following my main accounts, and folks who want a story, follow the other- and if you want both, you can follow both. :P

I don't want to stress myself out with this when I'm already making some sort of steps on this. I have no idea when I'll call something 'officially part of the story' or when it will be 'starting'. It may just be me posting images and concepts until I'm blue in the face, hahaha. 

Well, I say that as if I'll be posting often. I likely won't, once or twice a month, or something. I hate to be so non-committal especially at an early stage in the project. But I haven't quite found my groove yet, just started with my footing is all.  

I wanna sincerely thank you though for reading this, and any of you lovely patrons showing interest. Even if this is super-slow-going, if me from just 2-3 years ago saw I was making art for a living and starting to move with an original story....I'd feel so proud. But there's still lots to be done, and you've helped me get here!
