*RELEASE - LEVEL A* "Booty-Shake-Dance Vol.5"

****UPDATE: Global Speed Fix*****

We just simply forgot to add the script managing the synchronization between the global speed and the MoCap in order to "keep the FPS" as near as possible to the audio.

If needed please just redownload the file and overwrite all existing files.

Have a great day

Gato

Leeeeeets GO!

Here is the next volume of the "Booty-Shake-Dance"  MoCap. Not so much left to say we think. You know......its all about booty shaking :P Chrizzy made a fantastic job in my opinion.

This time we gave you a bit more options to play with like 2 seperate mirrors and a cumshot on demand. What do you think? Oh and you can drop her clothes by button whenever you like to of course. Enjoy!

Hi there. Make sure to run VaM at the latest version and also that you just extract the RAR file into your root directory so the hair var file is placed correctly into addon packages. If this diesnt work try to put the hair var file manually into "addon packages" in the root directoy. Gato

WHY SHE LOADED BOLD WITH NO HAIR FOR ME ?

GoodBoy2030

Thanks for the response; sorry for my tardy reply. The fix was updating VAM to the latest version... I have 1.19+, but not having the absolute latest update seems to break the scene. Works perfectly now. Sorry for the trouble.

MG

Just wait for VaM 2.0. We already have a concept for a booty dance when its finally released :P

KamiGato

Haha, gonna chime in here too, this is great, but nothing surpasses Vol. 4 in this series... so far!

tdog

Hopefully. A lot of bottleneck in the whole Unity system though. Don't know if it will be much better. Might be even more difficult and slower for GPUs if it uses the even fancier rendering. Anyway Meshed is very quiet lately so hopefully busy on it!

geo_gan

Hi there. Thank you for you technical feedback. We tried the package out on two different systems but it opens just well without any errors. Have you checked the VaM Version? Does it happen to this Scene only or does it affect others too. Is there an error log? I hope I can help you. We have overwritten the original one because with the speed fix it became obsolete.

KamiGato

Yeah...VaM really pushes even high end rigs to the limit. Its a shame but will become hopefully obsolete with VaM 2.0

KamiGato

there will be defenitely MoCaps like that in the future! Thank you for the feedback ;)

KamiGato

Not sure if I'm late to the game, but when I load the 'SpeedFix' scene it's... empty. Is there an original scene I can DL and apply the fix too? Am I missing something?

MG

The original "touchy" and "lollipop" are definitely the two best you guys have put out so far; moving around in the space, making and breaking contact - less like 'watching a show' and more like being involved in the scene - looking forward to more like that in the future.

nin

Very nice scene. Thanks! My machine cannot use mirrors at all though - mirrored surfaces turned on slows it to a crawl - even one mirror on, and frame rate in Oculus is down to less than 20FPS! I can't wait for NVidia to bring out the 30x0 series ! I presume my 1070 is only thing slowing me down at this stage since I have the latest 12-core AMD 3900X on a X570 ASUS motherboard, so not much more I can do about physics/CPU right now.

geo_gan

One other slight tweak that helped me and may help other; if you are seeing glare on the mirrors With your lighting settings, just move the mirrors back SLIGHTLY and the glare will be gone. You’ll still see her just fine, but now it will be crystal clear

itsgus

Thanks for the quick speed fix. After posting my question i figured out how to do it by looking at your other scenes. But it’s great to have the official source fixed :)

itsgus

This scene IS already stripped down in terms of physics and frame rate etc. the hair is super basic, the clothes are super basic, the skin super basic. No unity asset room to drop the frame rate. No high poly hair, no high poly clothes, etc for physics calculations. Compared to most other creators, this scene is already frame rate optimized. If it is still too much for you I recommend making some custom changes and saving a version of these scene for your own use. But I don’t even know what to recommend besides maybe removing her hair entirely, making sure soft body physics is off, keeping the mirrors off, etc. then also play with your global settings like pixel light count

itsgus

WOW! Thank you! That means a lot to us. There are so many creators out there and some of them are making rare quiality content. Glad to hear you count us to the "good side" :P So to answer your question. VaM eats up your RAM and CPU massively because for the physics calculations. It only uses one CPU core instead of spreading it to more. Thats because of the Unity programming. But as far as I know Meshed will solve this probleme with VaM 2.0 too. Iam not really geek enough to get deep into this but thats what I know so far. So comming back to our production sometimes its really hard for us to decide where to put our focus in terms of system conditions and user firendly handling. For us some MoCaps doesnt make any sense without all the lighting ad show giving to it. Lets take "cannibalis" for example. The Whole MoCap is based on the light show. So there it wouldnt make sense to cut it down for us. In other mocaps the lightning is essetial for the atmosphere and just simply to "see something" like in "must be LOVE". So just to break it down a bit into one straight sentence. We really give our best to balance between performance and show elements. Sometimes if we notice some really great performance issues we make a additional strip down version like in the "Boobie-Beach-Bounce "MoCap. Besides of the sometimes we offer versions without a "Dummy" to increase FPS. So last thing to be said is that every user might just check his/her performance settings first if he/she notices some FPS drops. Turning off SFB (soft body physics" often causes a huge FPS increase. You could also reduce the used pixel light in the pixel light count option or decrease the overall shader quality. Thats something everyone could do. For us as a studio its way more time consumpting adding a strip down version to every MoCap where we could imagine a FPS drop to some users. Hope this helps you out a bit. Thank you very much for you feedback and I hope you are going to enjoy your time with us here! ;) Gato ( sorry for the grammatics :P )

KamiGato

THANK YOU! We give our best. Lets be surprised whats comming up next ;)

KamiGato

YES. You are right. we added a fix. We just simply forgot a script to add. Just redownload the file and overwrite everything ;)

KamiGato

this is phenomenal. one quick quesiton, in most of your scenes you make the music slow down with the global time scale . how do i make it do that for this scene?

itsgus

Well done, some o the best dance animations in VAM. I have to say each release gets better and I really appreciate the effort put into each production!

MaxMuscle

Gotta say this team consistency produces the best looking content in my opinion out of the VAM creator community. I was thinking recently about a potential option, and I don’t know whether it would be possible, but figured it wouldn’t hurt to ask. Would you ever consider producing a “stripped down” version of the scene with limited lighting/assets etc? The choreography and physics is really well done and sometimes the additional layers, although it absolutely adds to the experience can really tax the GPUs trying to run it, at least from my experience. Just my two cents, can’t wait to load this one up as is though.
