Did I mention this is the greatest scene ever, of all time?

Hi Gato, thanks for sharing the details! I remember reading something from Timbo (one of the people who records motions with 7 trackers) saying that for fast dance moves they were too bulky. But certainly for the slow and sensual types of dances you should be able to give them another go. I think there are actually some smaller equivalents to Vive trackers that you can build yourself. Something like this: https://hackaday.com/2018/09/04/this-is-your-solution-for-open-source-motion-tracking/ - maybe worth looking into. Regardless, keep up the great work! Your scenes are still some of my all time favorites :)

Hi there! Yes, we did archive this goal some time ago. We are very very happy about it! We bought additional trackers too. So you are absolutely right just asking. Well we dont post every step we are doing in order to improve the dancing moves. Maybe we should have written some update. But you asked about it so heres what happened. So At first we added two additional trackers to our inventory. So now we have a total of 5 trackers. We were quiet excited about it since we have seen videos on how ppl on reddit move around with 6 trackers! That was stunning. When we tried it out we were disappointed. We put the trackers first on Chrizzys shoulders in the second try on her knees. Well what to say.....the tracking was ok/good. But Chrizzy was barely able to move...dancing like we do was impossible since the trackers slipped away quickly from her shoulders / knees. We tryed out diferent types of attachments be bought or build by ourselfes. With our self-build attachment chrizzy said feeling like in a bad "bodage-film" ;P So there went all the fatasy about additional tracking AND nice dancing moves. Slow and very controlled movements were possible but still sticked with problems. We were so much focussed on a full body mocap that we even bought a Kinect V2 (xBOX)+ adapter + a pretty expensive software plugin. The results were more than disturbing...Through the programm -->converting to DAZ and to VaM everything "humanlike" was gone and some parts were not possible to record. But everything is good for something right? So through this process we have learned aa lot about the joint points in VaM, bone behaviours and how they interact and work together. we made plans on how we want the person to behave in different dancing styles and built up many experiments with "test-MoCaps". Thats what you might have read when we are talking about our "joint behaviour system". every moCap is based on a routine we planned before and carefully added to the MoCap. The variations and combination possebiletys of joint points / behaviours are endless and are giving us the best results for now. We are looking for other methods to MoCap animations but as far as we know everything really professional is far away of our budget plus its not supported by VaM for now. Mybe in further versions. We hope that this might answer your question. We are not here to grab money and leave you alone. We are here to build up this studio with you together to become bigger and more and more popular with contend of quality :) Gato

I noticed you reached your goal to buy additional trackers - congrats! When will we start seeing animations with the additions?
