WIP: Slow and Steady!

...well, I don't know about the slow part. Maybe not that slow. I don't really know?!
Good morning! Weekly update time!
So, what I mean is...usually, I have a layout planned out for the videos, and it's easy to tell how much I still have to do. This time, since I haven't done anything like this before, I'm just winging it and putting the video together as I go. So far I'm happy with how it's turning out, and I have an idea of what I still have to do, but I don't know how much that's going to be!!! I just hope I finish it by the end of the month. I'm having fun, but it feels a little harder than the past videos because of that.

If this timeline is anything to trust, then I'd have probably half of it ready. So far, I have a total of 1 minute of video 100% done! It's longer than usual, but it's not all full animation.
I'm trying to get as much as possible done now because I know I'm going to have some work stuff taking more of my time during the last week of the month. So just in case things are more chaotic than I expect to, I want the video to be ready enough and just focus on improving it whenever I can until release date.

WHAT? URIANGER?! I gotta admit it feels weird animating Lizard with anyone but G'raha but NO WORRIES, it's not her canon!!! G'raha will always be her one and only...but every wolship deserves love, too. Lizard is just a placeholder in this one! One of the challenges I'm facing is trying to convey all the ideas I have in a short, quick video...I hope it works. Let me know if it did when the video is finally out!

Anyway for this project, instead of scenes in a chronological order, I have a lot of small clips, usually 100 frames each, that I'm putting together. I'm actually spending way less time animating than editing this time. As of right now, I have 11 total clips animated, and at least 4 more animation clips planned and 2 pose-only/low motion ones. 7 more if I actually have time to do them. Sounds like a lot, right?! I'm focusing on those 4 animated clips more, and if things go wrong, I can still adapt my ideas for the other clips. And then I will have learned my lesson about pre-production and planning things ahead a little better. :')
It's fine!! I like the experience of just going ahead and learning with practice.

Urianger's Shadowbringers glow-up was really something else, huh...I tried to pose this one to highlight his back and arms. I hope Urianger's fan like it! :P
Some of the animations are just like this one, so even though it's one more to the list, they're relatively short and simple.
I've been also spending a lot of time on research for this video. Watching references from other trailers for the kind of video I'm making, and also, watching cutscenes of every character in japanese and translating it, then picking the right line and recording it ingame. There's one voice line for each character here that I'm taking out of context in japanese and re-translating it to fit the setting, yet still trying to be accurate to the meaning - having a little taste of what localization feels like. :P

I like doing it because I'm studying japanese and this is great practice, but it takes a lot of time that I'm not even measuring! A lot of care went on picking the right line for each character and getting the phrasing and meaning just right, I hope it's noticeable when the final video is done!
Other than the video itself, I've been trying to dedicate more time than usual every day for my sunday video! I really want it to be a good one but I'm still not quite there...so I might have to delay it a day. So just a heads up, if I don't post anything on sunday, I didn't forget!! That means it's probably not good enough yet and I will be doing my best to post it on monday! I hope it's ok.
That's it for today!! Thank you for reading and for your support~ <3
