WIP: IT IS DONE!

Now I'm just waiting for the right moment.

As I commented in my last post, this week's been very busy with work. I'm trying to really focus on it so I can get the most part out of the way soon and go back to spending more time on my XIV animations guilt-free later, so I'm barely even checking social media or even actually playing FF. I did get my preorder earring though! Dawntrail feels so close now!!! I'm definitely taking a week off from life to do nothing but play XIV from early access. :D

I was able to fix some minor things that bothered me in the video, like Alphy's hair, some stuff that was clipping, and a few animation things that wouldn't take me too long. I gave up on that "7 new character rigs for a last frame" idea I mentioned last week though. Not because I didn't want to do it, but because after rigging and posing G'raha, I realized my idea just didn't work like I imagined it.

It's fine! Now I have a single pose of G'raha wearing the wedding tuxedo just waiting to be used someday in the future.

The total video is 1:35 minutes long. I hope no one gets bored by it...since all of my other videos are much shorter. :x

It's good to try different things sometimes.

Now I'm actually avoiding watching it for a while so I can rest my eyes of it for a bit. Meanwhile...I am starting to think more about the next one!

I still need to edit it, but I was able to work a little on it, and will show step by step of what I did on sunday. I finished animating the first shot! It's been actually pretty fun for me to do these as well. A lot of times I just don't think about my thought process for things, but when I want to show them and explain what I'm doing, that's where a lot of things become clearer.

Now, since next week I will be posting the new video for sure, I was wondering if for that week, would you rather keep watching the progress on the Ultima Thule video, or something focused on the trailer one? Sadly, I don't have footage for all the process since after a while I stopped recording so my PC could breathe, but I do have a lot of it, like specific animation clips, some editing, and I can also show the files after they're ready. Please let me know if you have any preference! I usually start working on my sunday videos on fridays, so you can let me know after the video is out if there's anything you're curious about.

I really can't wait to post the video sooon!!! I hope you all like it. It was a lot of work, and I know more work doesn't equal more enjoyment, but still, it's always rewarding to post the videos and see people enjoying it.
