Starting a Video: Rigging Characters

Hello! Happy Dawntrail benchmark release day! I'm about to check it out after this. :D

Today's video is how I rigged Emet and Hythlodaeus for the UT Reunion video. This is not really a tutorial but I still try to show and explain some of the things I always do, like how I like to set up the eyes, while also talking about how I try to solve things when they don't work out as well. Instead of going in depth on how things work and the theory behind it, I like to approach things in a way that I feel make it simple and easy to understand, and learn things in practice by trying stuff out until I gradually pick up the best way to do it.

I hope this is helpful to some of you, and to those of you that probably know how to do this better than I do, hopefully this wasn't too frustrating to watch. :P

Thank you very much for your support!

EDIT: BY THE WAY ABOUT THE ANCIENT NECK PART. I'm rewatching and juuuust now I realized there's a bunch of different necks there...so maybe they're actually for the many different Ancients sharing that custom set and it wasn't about scaling the body? :P HEH. Honestly I'm not sure about anything but..yeah. Anyway it's working so all is well!

Thank you, I'm glad to hear there was something new for you there!! I hope the trick is helpful to you in the future :) I know there's a lot of options in Textools regarding the colorset that you can change before exporting, but I have no idea how to use them. Maybe it's easier than trying to change them in Blender, but either way that's still a mystery to me...

Definitely learned a few things! I'm with you on getting those exact colors of the clothing, still haven't fully figured that out yet! That eye catch light trick is outstanding!
