No WIP, weekly update

Hello! How is everyone 1 week away from early accesss?

It's really the only thing in my mind recently! So, no animation in progress as of right now because of that. This is just a general weekly update instead of a WIP one. Sorry for the lack of pictures this time. :x

I'm using the time I have free during the week to get everything prepared, like try to be sure my PC can handle the game, think of new ideas to make after the graphics update, and try things out in Blender.

I will have a lot to work on after Dawntrail though, because I'm probably remaking all of my rigs if things work out as expected. I want to learn to make the videos looks prettier, maybe even use Cycles for rendering, and get a new version of Mektools...apparently there's a new version on the works with more facial controls and an animation library!

I'm also getting a lot of boring IRL stuff out of the way during next week, like renovating documents and medical appointments, so I won't have to deal with any of that when I'd rather be playing DT.

I actually thought of trying to finish one more animation before release since there's a week to go still, but that would be way too stressful if I didn't make it in time. Spending the whole weekend without breaks from early access playing Dawntrail is non-negotiable!

...and not gonna lie, part of me also considered making a full video documentary of me talking about why I like G'raha in excrutiating detail and pointing out things like localization differences, information that's not in the game and collect a ton of cutscenes to prove my point. But maybe I shouldn't...maybe. I'm normal about this character!!!

Though related to that, I did translate a clip of a Uchida Yuma interview about G'raha for twitter if you want to check it out here. :D

I'm not fluent in japanese so the quality is questionable, but I think it should be accurate enough.

I still need to work on this week's video for here but that's coming. So if there's anything you'd like to see a video on, please let me know! I don't mind requests at all, in fact it would be really helpful to know what you're interested in. :)

I have footage of me working on the last hug shot from Waiting for Dawntrail video, so I thought I'd share and comment on the animation of that next! But oh just a heads up, this next weekend for me is pretty busy so I might have to delay it by a day again. Will try not to, but I think it's better to let that known before it happens.

Are you all ready for early access? Everything leveled up and in order? 150gb of free space? And the most difficult of all...do you have inventory space?! I still have to work on that one.
