WIP: New video in progress!!! ...with old models

 Hello! :')

I have been spending my free time lately trying to make the new models to work for videos, and I did have good enough results as far as the models and shaders. I have every character I will need for my Sharlayan video idea put together in Blender.

I am satisfied. She looks pretty AND can be rendered in both Eevee and Cycles. The horns also look SO much better to me.

However...the rig!

Because of the new facial bones, the mekrig structure I usually use isn't updated yet, and it's in the works. After testing around, I came to the decision it would be best to wait for them to make the new tool - I trust their work will be much better than whatever I can come with, and I will have more long-lasting results when I finally update the rigs.

When these controllers are working properly though I can't wait to work on even more details in the facial expressions!! Look at how many lip joints we've got! AND A TONGUE!

So instead, I started working on a new video with the rigs I already had. My ideas were limited because I don't have access to the EW models anymore, so no new character. I also wanted to think of something that I could finish faster, so there's chance this is done before the mekrig update comes out.

It feels good to be animating again...I really enjoy seeing my ideas come to life. :')

If I'm being honest about this one, it's 100% an excuse to animate a comforting G'raha hug. I've been feeling a bit sad and unmotivated lately, so I'm just turning this feeling into an animation. I want a Raha hug, so I'm getting one the only way I know how. Still didn't insert a BG but I have a setting in mind already!

This one makes me wish we also had ingame an affection system of sorts. Like, imagine if certain dialogue choices made you feel closer or flirt with certain characters, and in some specific moments, you got alone time with the one you raised more! Like in my case, the WoL is sad and G'raha appears to comfort her. It's how I imagine this scene would fit in the game.

...maybe I just want that otome game, again. :P

Anyway, this is it for now. I'm still working on a video talking about new textools and putting the characters together, as well as recording the process of this next video, so there will be something this week for sure. I'm sorry for the huge delay!
