WIP: Good progress!

Hello! How is everyone? I'm late again with this one, sorry. I think I'm going to make these on friday now to fit my current schedule...

So, I'm making steady progress with the new animation:

It's 46 seconds long, no flashbacks this time. It matches exactly the dialogue of the 5.4 scene, plus one extra scene at the end.

The most important sound effects are there, the text boxed are already working, and I have the animation planned of all of the 7 shots, and one of them is already fully animated! Another one is almost done.

I still might make fine adjustments to this, but I'd consider it "done". I plan on getting rid of the neck seam when there are lights in the scene and with some post production...

I'm trying something different with this one! Most of the video reminds me of when I was making the Linkpearl call video, since I'm basically just animating an unvoiced dialogue. But in the Linkpearl one, other than one specific thing, I didn't try to match the lipsync to anything, since the game doesn't either.

This time, just to make things harder for myself, I AM lipsyncing the entire thing...to the japanese text. Since I always use the japanese voices, it would be weird to do it with the english text. Yes, I know this means probably most people won't even realize the mouths aren't moving randomly AND it's going to be harder to get it right, but...yeah. That's something I'm doing. I'm curious to see if anyone will actually notice it when it's done. :P

The way I'm doing it, is recording the dialogue with google translate, adjusting the speed to be more or less "natural", and then using it as reference to animate. It's also helping a lot to define how long to leave the text box in there, like it's in auto based on the text. The google translate audio won't be in the final version, of course!

The english text will be the one in the textboxes, so no worries. Oh but I did make some slight changes! I compared the japanese one with the localization, and although very minor, there were a few differences...and some of it I wanted to keep it closer to the japanese. It doesn't really change much of the scene, so I kept a mix of both!

Oh, and I also still need to work on the lighting and getting the screenshots ingame. I started 5.4 NG+ to get those. Ahh it's so good!!!!...did you remember G'raha talks about how much he likes flying when we got to Azys Lla? I had forgotten that. I think it's never mentioned again. Maybe Lizard should take him flying with her someday. :') anyway--

I can't wait to finish this one. I've got another new idea for another video I reeeally want to make after this!!! I hope you enjoy it when it's done.
