Weekly WIP/update post :) I hope you enjoyed the White Mage video!
Yesterday I was so hyped to finish it and post it that I did the entire last shot in one sitting. From finishing rigging Alisaie, to getting the dungeon footage, animating, adding lights and editing. Sometimes it takes me days slowly working on a particular shot, and then the more I'm close to finishing, the more I go all in! ...and yes, I've always been the kind of person to wait until the last second of deadlines to finish stuff. Some things never change, even with an arbitrary deadline set by myself for a personal project.

This is how my premiere project looks like in the end. This timeline is HEAVY with overlays and sparkles and petals! It had to feel magical and Sailor Moony after all...
I want to make a Behind the Scenes video like usual showing some of the things I added here and some of the details and ideas, I hope you like it if this interests you.
I've also been reading every comment like usual, and I'm always so grateful for the amount of people that actually enjoy it! Really makes me happy. But it also serves as a form of feedback for things I have to pay more attention for the next one.
Like, for example, there are many people that think he is coughing or sneezing at the beginning. That was actually supposed to be a papercut! Thankfully this doesn't mess up the video idea (her reaction would be the same) but that means the animation could've been better. I was careful to add sound effects that sounded like paper and cutting, but I think what's causing the confusion are the poses. So in this case, what I should have done to avoid confusion, was to not get his hand over to his mouth, maybe make him look at his finger immediately after the cut instead. Or maybe bring more attention to the papers before he got the cut. Would also have helped if he kept at least one of his eyes open, because when we sneeze, we close both of our eyes like that.

Well, It's always a new opportunity to improve~
I also see a lot of people comment that Wuk Lamat is a WAR and Alisaie is a RDM that even heals the dungeon and they didn't need a healer but that's so not true!!! Duty Supports NPCs are not nearly as good as players. I actually had to go inside the dungeon to get the footage of the bird for this, and I experimented with not healing at all. Wuk Lamat can't wall to wall without heals or she dies. Alisaie raises her, but doesn't heal much as a DPS.
And during the boss, to get the background for this, I couldn't move or heal, and they'd often die to the raid wides if I didn't do anything! So...I can say from experience that they DO need a healer. :P

In the shot I used, Alisaie and Krile are actually dead simply because I didn't heal them. Krile is over there! You can't see Alisaie because I turned her visibility off with Anamnesis. I just wish Krile had died closer to where I'm standing, would've been a nice extra detail to see her on the floor for this :x
I'll be putting a video together for sunday if everything works out with more details and behind the scenes, showing the files and some animation footage.
Meanwhile, I'll be thinking of which video idea to do next!! I'm torn between a few of them that I've been thinking about. I'll be refining them in my head, and when I'm more sure about them, I will actually post a poll over here to ask which one you'd like to see more! That's because not only I actually would love to know which one do you all prefer to see sooner, but I'm also going to record the whole process from scratch and do it like the series I did for the Ultima Thule video, explaining all of the steps, so if you like the videos I've been posting like this, think of which one would you like to see it being made. I've got better with a few of the things, and I also updated my version of Blender and the models, so I think it could be nice to do it again with another video. So please vote on it when I post it, if you can! <3
