WIP: One week left? Maybe???

Hello! Weekly update. Still going!

I'm almost done with one more gap of my timeline~

The selected area, which I've been working on all week. For this to finish, I only need to rig Thancred and animate his clip, the white rectangle part. He wears a gym teacher uniform, and for him specifically I need to download a mod to fix his face that the graphical update changed...

Then, all that's left will be the second gap over there (red rectangle), with the characters I already have! It's...a little bit more complex part, but it's short enough. For that, I might make use of the new school items that came out in this newest patch. Great timing! And then, it's done!!! I might be able to finish it in one more week...or just a little more.

During this week, I had 5 more characters rigged, and other than Asahi, they had also custom changes to their outfits. ...and even rigging 5 more characters, I only had ~7 additional seconds added. Oh, well.

They're good enough to work for what I'm doing, but wouldn't be wearable as mods at all. In the end I decided to be a little less meticulous with the details of the outfits and only have them be serviceable for what appears in the video. I also usually make adjustments to the colors in editing, so that helps.

Before starting, I was worried about Y'shtola's outfit, but I think I found a good enough for solution, considering my own limitations. It's made by combining the Adventurer Sweater with the shoulder part of the Spring Dress and changing the texture and a bit of the shape! I don't like how it looks around the waist, but I tried to hide it with the posing and animation.

I'd love to see a sweater like it ingame! While making this, I was thinking also that I kinda wish they had only made characters in this manga wear things that are glamours that exist already. Not only it would show that the author really knows the game, it would make it possible for everyone to replicate it, AND make this video MUCH easier!!!!

I cannot WAIT to finish this! I really, really hope everyone enjoys it. It's by far the most work I've had in a video, and it would make me happy to see more people enjoy a cute, fun Eorzea Academy AU. And also, not only I already had a special project lined up and a few ideas that I wanted to work on, but 7.1 also gave me a new one with a very nice G'raha Tia voiced feature that could be a video...hmm...I'll try thinking more about it once this one is over. Maybe a new poll to decide it over here?
