WIP: Busy week, but things going well!

Hello! Short WIP...
This week got busier than I expected! Not only I started working on the very first commissions, but I got some other quick freelance work out of nowhere for the month...so that was a (good) surprise. I guess I really am going to test how much I can handle on all fronts at the same time. Don't worry, things are going well!
Part of me kind of do wishes I only had the commissions to work on because I am SO invested in them!! So far I've been really enjoying the process and the requests, hopefully everything go smoothly until the end and I can take on more. I've got a lot of precious feedback on how to handle them and pricing, so things will get more structured for the next one. Again, thank you so much for all of the info, suggestions and the encouraging words!
One of them already has the blocking done and I'm moving on to refining it, the other is going to take a while longer but it's going smoothly so far. As I work on them, I'm trying to get a feeling of how long they might take so I can see how many slots I open for the next one. It will get a little more expensive though, since these first two were really low as a test...so I hope you understand. :')

As for my own video, this one is taking longer because I've gone a few days without doing anything for it. I already have 4 shots fully animated, but those are the shorter ones that I could get done in less time. I think it's not going to be a super interesting video for everyone, but I hope G'raha fans and those that like the official stories can appreciate it for what it is - which is the closest adaptation that I can of the first bit of the story, in a cutscene-style format.
I read both the EN and the JP versions to see if anything was different, but other than G'raha's way of speaking, nothing too significant changed. When one of them was more specific about something, I followed it, so it should work for both versions. For example, the JP version specifically said G'raha thought of the Warrior of Light personally telling stories of Doma, so I tried including that!

(as you can see, I still have to get most of the backgrounds...)
I know I also need to work on a new Patreon video to post! I couldn't focus on any ideas to show these last days, and I know I want to make a video about the commissions I've been working on when they're ready, but if there's anything specific you'd like to see here, let me know. Would a video of how I use Meddle to get characters and environments be useful?
This is it for now, I hope I have many more things to show next week~
Thank you for your support!

2025-06-10 16:24:54 +0000 UTCHiI! Sorry for taking so long, I got a sick this weekend :') so ended up not making the video...but sure, I will try to work on it for this week! I'm glad to hear you're interested in it! As for for aligning perspective, I can try to show a few things I try to do to help, but to be completely honest, I mostly eyeball it :x so honestly, I suspect a lot of it must be off, if you look at it for too long!!! But now that I'm thinking about it, I can also try to make a more in detail video about how to edit the backgrounds in premiere, too!! :) I've been experimenting with more camera movements for this one to try to make it a little more dynamic...thank you for the ideas~ And yes those are the DT fingers!! It's a HUGE improvement!

2025-06-09 15:29:42 +0000 UTCHi Liz! I already really like the letter, scene :D Are these the dawntrail rig fingers? We really have come a long way since ARR XD I would be interested in a meddle video :) I am also interested if you have any tips and tricks on how to align perspective when you capture the background videos/screenshots for your scene or if you are doing that mostly in post... maybe you can combine it with the meddle video, if it would be to short otherwise? :)
