Mankind appropriated the achievements of elven civilization and skillfully hid it. Even the princess of Cintra did not know the history of the origin of the capital of her own kingdom.
This reminds me very much of modern days, when entire countries rewrite history in the hope that the inconvenient truth will be forgotten.

Человечество построило свою цивилизацию на основе/обломках эльфийской и этот факт был стерт из их истории. Человечество присвоило себе достижения эльфийской цивилизации и умело скрыло это. Даже княжна Цинтры не знала историю происхождения столицы её собственного королевства.
Это очень мне напоминает современные дни, когда целые государства переписывают историю в надежде, что неудобная правда будет забыта.
